Any way that this will be put somewhere for the rest of us to hear? The way Nick Silver was?

Most of the BBC programs are available online and often have a Listen Again facility where you can pick them up for a week. It is quite possible to record them to your hard drive so you can listen any time you want! This is where it will be www.bbc.co.uk/radio3/index.shtml?logoOnly trouble about listening to the first airing is that I would have to get up really early on Christmas morning and I dont think I will fancy that much!

I will absolutely not state the obvious preference for staying in bed for someone rather than getting up for him. Nope, not me. ;D My kids will have just arrived for Christmas a couple of hours before this is on - and yet I will be locking myself away to listen. Good job they know I love them. Mind you, they'll get their own back with merciless teasing afterwards!

I am a morning person (up at 4am without the alarm clock) the only problem I have is that I have no access - Chicago, IL, USA - luckily those of us from third world countries can know without a doubt that this site will direct us to an internet version.
But I know that you will all be jealous of us here in the US because we will probably have 9 hours of continuous "Cash in the Attic" followed by another 9 hours of "Benny Hill" and as an added bonus because it is Christmas, we might get intermitent "What Not To Wear" advice.

If anyone figures out how to save this one, I'd appreciate it. I'm watching football (US) today and won't be stopping to listen to even the dulcit tones of Rufus. thanks Rai

I might be wrong, but I'm listening to the Beeb now and I think I'm (in Canada) seven hours behind, so I'll be able to hear this today at 1pm! Thanks for the heads up!

Answering my own question: Audens's 'For the Time Being: A Christmas Oratorio' [glow=red,2,300] Listen to this episode for up to 7 days after broadcast[/glow] Sunday 24 December 2006 20:15-21:30 (Radio 3) For the Time Being: A Christmas Oratorio. WH Auden's postwar passion play is a modern mystery cycle which reinterprets faith for those exposed to the horrors of the Second World War. Rai
