So I'm assuming the London premiere is still on for tonight?
This premiere takes place in Leicester Square on Tuesday 5th December 2006 at 6.45pm

There are numerous photos on the usual sites (rexfeatures, wireimage, etc.) - lots of Kate, Cameron, & Jude. A few of Rufus solo wearing dark suit and blue shirt. Lots of people I don't recognize and one woman in particular wearing hardly anything, as seems to be the rule for Leicester Square premieres.  Rai |

Tidbit from Empire at the premiere: "Jude Law dashed inside to avoid the usual Sienna questioning (didn’t that end three times already?) which left us in the company of the just plain dashing Rufus Sewell. Sewell plays Jaspar, a writer who is about to marry someone else after stringing Winslet’s character Iris along as “friends” for three years. “At first I thought ‘I don’t want to play this tosser’ but then I thought, ‘Well why not?’” he grinned. “What’s funny about him is he completely thinks he’s misunderstood. Interesting that I just heard that Cameron is now the highest paid actress in the US right now - $15 mil. a pic. I certainly hope that Rufus got more than scale in this one, even though I realize his part was small.

Here's what a recent article said about the highest paid actresses in the US this year:
Nicole Kidman has replaced Julia Roberts in the list of highest paid actresses in Hollywood for 2006. AOL News says that fifth annual list of highest-paid actresses was released by The Hollywood Reporter and will appear in the Women in Entertainment Power 100 issue to be published on December 5.
The Hollywood Reporter talks about the top Hollywood actresses and the huge sums of money they earn. The highest paid actress is Nicole Kidman earning $16 million-$17 million per movie. She is closely followed by Renee Zellweger, Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz earning 15 million dollars for each film. Others female actors featured in the list are Halle Berry, Charlize Theron, Angelina Jolie, Kirsten Dunst and Jennifer Aniston.
So Cameron Diaz isn't the highest paid....................several others are above her!
With Rufus' small role, I have no idea if he got paid any more than scale or not.........but, knowing our man, his small part was better than most others huge parts and he deserved a great deal of $$ for that!
(You know if you don't really read that last part.........it sounds almost dirty!)
