Saw this among his credits on another site, but can't seem to get any information on this at all, other than it was a tv production. Tried searching on BBC to no avail. Has anyone heard of this and is it available for purchase? Sounds kind of creepy. Here's a bit of a synopsis: The story: Harold ( Richard Henders ) is obsessed with the past. He feels that his life so far has been rather miserable, and he cannot help comparing his situation to his friend Charlies'. Charlie ( Rufus Sewell ) has everything Harold would dream of : A successful life in the country, in Wales, and a gorgeous wife that adores him. One morning Harold has a phone call from Charlie. He sounds desperate, and Harold sets out for his friend in Wales. There he meets a disturbing sight: The farm is not the magnificent home he imagined, and Charlie looks like his own shadow. What happened to the farm? Where is Charlie's wife? And what is that peculiar, smell?

Thanks for bringing this up, Welshdragon. Here's the imdb page, but there's not much info. www.imdb.com/title/tt0415180/I love that the only plot keyword listed is "bathtub." The imagination soars! ;D

Thanks for unearthing this one, Welshdragon! It sounds really interesting! I've never been able to find anything about it either. Was it actually filmed? (The only reason I ask that is because Taste in still listed on Rufus' IMDB page and that was never given the green-light by the production people so I find it a bit pointless that it's still there).

Don't know anything about this one, but then I only 'discovered' roof about 3 weeks ago as Tom Builder. Had just returned from a trip to England and was trying to prolong the experience with a video about the country. Never counted on the goldmine I unearthed. Have since spent lots of money collecting evidence of his talent and TOTS is a favorite. One of my daughters was home from college this weekend and I made her watch it. Of course, she laughed hysterically. At the other end of the spectrum, stumbled across 9/11 out of the Blue this past weekend and cannot recover from it. I've even made it the topic of a column in the paper I write for and have made arrangements for the students in our high school to watch it. Is there any more news about this out there? Any hope it will be released to DVD? This, alone, should win him some kind of huge award, but apparently nobody has noticed.

This one's also mentioned in his Wikipedia entry, so I think it exists. Sounds intriguing, but I guess it's one of those early works that are virtually impossible to get.

It's weird, but the description sounds kind of familiar to me. Maybe I've unconsciously seen it somewhere in the past? I'd love to have more information on this.

Yes, it was, Meg - here is the BFI synopsis: ftvdb.bfi.org.uk/sift/title/489925?view=synopsisThere are other links on that page, including for the transmission date. (Only a pilot of "Taste" was made, but never transmitted)
