is this true? or not...

like many of you, probably, i sometimes scoure the news in hope of finding info on my current obsessions, be it radishes, rufus, book publishing, watercolour, and so on, ond so forth.
although i've seen my share of weird news, i never cease to be amazed at the stupidity of some "journalists" who will tackle just any idiotic subject with the seriousness of a vatican p.r. person.
and more often than not, you end up wondering if the "news" is true or not. you end up feeling guilty even believing for a second that it might be.
examples?
-obsessed by their weight, tom cruise and his wife are starving themselves to death.
-warren beatty bedded over 3000 women.
-james franco is able to show emotion.
yes, the point is, we can never come up with such outrageous tidbits of useless and derisive information if we tried.
or could we?
and if we did, could others tell the difference?
here is my challenge: to find some piece of "news" on the internet, OR invent one from scratches, and post it here. and let us try to guess whether it is true (not as in "accurate" but as in "published", if you understand the difference....)
in other words, did someone actually get paid to put the piece of crap up for public gluttony, or is it a total spoof.
of course, if you are using a story on the web as your source, dont quote it word by word, it might be to easy to trace. but cut and paste the url somewhere if you do, so you can prove us that, indeed, you were not twisted enough to come up with such garbage.
remember, the object of the game is not to prove anything is true, it probably is not anyway. let's not give too much credit to the maggots.
shall i begin? see you in next post. try and tell if i, or someone else, have too much time on their hands.
