RAI, My God I'm still shaking all over !!! I am so-o-o-o-o happy that you just misunderstood Ruf's message. I did not get a chance to check this forum over the weekend. So this morning when I signed on and read the first few posts in the thread I became so sad. But you cleared everything up with the truth and the facts. That is why I respect you so much and enjoy this forum. Maybe you could change the thread to read " No It's NOT Over" ?? I so want EH to be renewed next season, as I think all of us do. If Rufus believes that it would be good for him and his career send prayers from our lips to God's ears ! Thank you so much, Rai, for sharing your correspondence with Ruf with all of us loyal, loving and supportive Rufus Sewell fans !!!!!!!!

Ive seen all of first season of eh, and would be extremely interested to know which eps of seas 2 your talking about? Maz, the first season is not over yet. They've been off due to the NCAA basketball tournament. One more to go, on April 2nd. That is the season finale, Rufus called it "Madea". TV listing says: Hood is the only one who believes a psychotic woman's accusations against the deputy director of the FBI -- that he stole her baby and is keeping her forcibly medicated to cover it up -- may have merit. This is the one he said would stand in contrast to the last one and hopefully make everyone see what the series could be. You can trust me. I always get the story straight. Rai

It will be interesting to see what the final decision on EH will be. I do wonder if schedule-wise it's even feasible for Rufus to consider maybe doing a smaller film role after the shooting of (a still possible) season II of EH is finished? Unless, of course, it leaves Rufus with zero downtime, making him too pooped a puppy, and we don't want that. Still, it would surely and absolutely spoil us fans to have a 2nd season of EH AND a Ruf-film to look forward to. It's too bad that because of the current economy the indie film industry isn't quite as robust as it was for a while or there would be many more "Downloading Nancy" type roles in the offing, which are the perfect (short schedule) roles for someone who's on a tv show, I would think. (Hopefully DN will show locally here in June. 'bout time, btw) I have heard that they are writing another Sex and the City movie, so my often-shared dream of seeing Rufus cast as Carrie's true love and final squeeze is, technically, if not practically speaking, still alive. One can hope. I've always thought he'd make her best love interest ever...a British director who meets Carrie whilst working in NYC. She shows him her City, and sees it anew again through his eyes, and in love, too. Thesis (there's always a thesis) : When your true love comes to you, you know it's right, right from the beginning. You are both equally in love and at the same place emotionally, and it just works. Lesson learned (there's always one) : Just because there is still love (and history) in a relationship, doesn't mean it's right. No matter how much you want it to be, especially because of all the time invested. (Big's trying to win her back, with nostalgia among other things) If it was really "it" you would have known it long ago, and everything would have worked out. I know it's simplistic, but it could be pretty good. The shameless part of me says--ooh, there would be some racy Rufus love scenes in a SATC movie too, we haven't seen those in a long time, and are quite overdo! (Ha, ha)

rufluvr, love your take on SATC, I was completely disappointed with the movie and how it ended, I was a faithful follower from the beginning, and I thought it was a letdown. Good perfs but on the whole unsatisfied. That story line sounds interesting, kind of like when they introduced Misha into Carrie's life and he took her to France. Could be something.

I just saw the last episode of EH, and I have to say, the pitch and intensity of Marley Shelton's and of course, Ru's performance, were a thrill to watch. Whoever wrote that episode should write all of next season's as well. The ending was a bit of a letdown, though, I would have liked to have seen a cliffhanger, as opposed to wrapping it all up pretty much by the last scene.
