No news is good news, I think.........I also think people don't talk about it because...........a lot of things................ But............ If.............if it DOES exist, I think we can't just ignore it..........right......? But there is a little things..........why CBS will cancel Cold Case and Without a Trace, just because they are larg budget? or just because they just ISN'T like <X - files>? If Eleventh Hour is science, how it will be look like <X - files>?

It's hard to know what CBS is thinking, Kate. ABC, NBC, and Fox would be dancing for joy if more of their shows had the ratings Eleventh Hour had. Like the article says, CBS has higher standards. It's very unfortunate that Eleventh Hour ended the same week as ER, because I think some of the ER viewers might have come over to Eleventh Hour if it was still on for a few more weeks. We will just have to be patient, I guess

We will just have to be patient, I guess Oh........I'm just boring and curious.....I DO think the writer who decide direction of whole story has no idea about EH.........for now...... 18th ep is like all of things I liked but EH or even X files........no clear position means no clear direction, no clear direction means no clear contradiction ,no contradiction means no bad guy, no bad guy is means no story.......no clear story means no clear polt and character...so......I don't care Whether RS gets the job or not, it's his business, I just curious...... If.......If.......If it DO exist, what's you real want to know? Hood's character? Rachel's boy friend?........or their relationship? or any special science?

I'm also very curious myself, there is nothing wrong with that! That is how new things get discovered. IF a second season does happen, I would like to learn a little more about Rachel's history (but not too much, little bits of information is best). I would like Hood and Rachel to continue to develop their teamwork. Felix is also ok, in small doses. The last episode did not have very much science in it. I did not miss it, but the science is what makes this show a little different from all of the other crime shows, so I think they should keep the science in, most of the time. I have not thought about any specific plots. What about you? Do you have any ideas?

well, we know very little about dr. hood. we know his wife died from a rare and brutal form of cancer (good possible conspiracy story line there?...), that he has a sister and a nephew, that he probably dated his late wife's best friend at some point.
not much info on the lead, when there are basically only two regular characters.
i definitely need more on that front. and on rachel too, i agree on that.

Yes, we need much more on the Hood front, as well as the Hood profile and especially the Hood back.

Can I put my two cents in? I think the pacing of the last episode was what was missing throughout the entire run. I do think the producers left the door open for a possible 2d season, and the fact that it strayed from it's usual science angle was a nice touch. Besidses introducing Felix ( I hereby eat my words, as I did state, I was in favor of his charachter as long as they didn't push Rachel out of the picture, so yes they should keep him in) head honcho at the FBI would be a nice recurring character as well. There are endless possibilities for the writers to take advantage of, enuf to fill a 2d season hopefully.

Felix is also ok, in small doses. the science is what makes this show a little different from all of the other crime shows, so I think they should keep the science in, most of the time. I have not thought about any specific plots. I so agree with you. I read some articles, they said there must be a team, just like CSI or CM or any other teleplays, because no one can know everything just like Hood, and they thought, there must have a team to protect Hood if he really important, Rachel is not enough. But I don't think so, team is so ordinary to the show, almost every show is that pattern, a big "boss" and two or three "kids", House and NCIS and CSI and CM and...if CBS wnats to build a team and let Hood get three good "kids", I'd rather they cancel the show...please...I'll be so happy to let it go... I'm not dislike Felix, but I never think he is real useful in the show, if he just a person who work with Hood and Rachel, there are a lot of choices, for example, just like Bones, they can find different extras in different episodes every week, it must a lot of fun than look at a poor guy who want to get Hood's praise hangs in every week, it's pathetic, I'm so sorry for him. well, we know very little about dr. hood. we know his wife died from a rare and brutal form of cancer (good possible conspiracy story line there?...) I love it, because a lot of teleplay, wife's dead is so usually.......Monk's wife died.<Monk>....... H's wife died<CSI Miami>.....Nate Ford's kid died<Leverage>...........best of the best..........Patrick Jane.................his wife and kid both died<The Mentalist>.............that's really perfect..............are they? I'm so tired of "wife (or kids) died", why women merried a good hasband must die? even their kids.......... But, I think her death DOES exsit, so I love "possible conspiracy story line", it's so special............I even wish IF she is a bad boss............... ~~~~~~~~~~(It WON'T happen I think.....heehee..........just for fun) I do think the producers left the door open for a possible 2d season, and the fact that it strayed from it's usual science angle was a nice touch. Just found this: What is CBS doing with Eleventh Hour now that Harper's Island is coming on during its time slot? — John
MICKEY: There was a very strong rumor last week that Eleventh Hour had been canceled; it sent a wave of panic through my mailbox. My CBS sources say it's not true, but we'll have to wait until the late-May upfronts for a definitive announcement. But, as previously reported, Eleventh had an abbreviated back-end pickup, which means its first season is actually already over, paving the way for this Thursday's premiere of Harper's Island. www.tvguide.com/News/MegaBuzz-Lost-Heroes-1004845.aspx

I want to see more of Dr. Hood's sister and nephew. I want to see some romance (always want that LOL) with Dr. Hood.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that Eleventh Hour is renewed. I have read both positive and things on the internet with regard to a renewal. I truly don't think showing the season finale of Eleventh Hour against the series finale of ER was a smart move on CBS's part at all. ER was obviously going to get stellar ratings which they did among the key 18-49 group. I wish that CBS would have advertised the show a little more as well. It seems in the NY area, Harper's Island is being heavily advertised. In fact today, I saw a huge poster on a ferry crossing the Hudson River.
