Most importantly, they need to improve the writing by leaps and bounds. There were very few good episodes. I love the ability to see him every week but not in cr@# - I would rather him be free to contract with quality written, long term (and with those requirements, most likely, British) TV/productions.

About Harper's Island
I just very curious, why all of them put EH and HI together, there are different stories different actors and different audiences.....there is really possible to pick one of them, either EH or HI?
If they tell me, Cold Case or EH, I think it's ok, but EH of HI, I don't buy it................heeeheee.........

I said......some episodes were very NOT good..........I watch Cold Case sometimes, it's so great.........sometimes............Why CBS must cancel it? just because big budget? EH is more cheaper? I don't think so............If EH must be cancel, I think somethings inside...........

Not sure what the following means for EH, but:

The premiere of CBS' "Harper's Island" won the 10 p.m. hour with a 6.7/12, topping the premiere of NBC's "Southland," which had a 6.2/11. Since ABC's "Private Practice" rerun was irrelevant, let's talk a bit more about the "Harper's Island" and "Southland" premieres. NBC can be pleased that the new police drama won the hour in the 18-49 demographic with a 3.2 rating and that it improved in its second half-hour. "Harper's Island" fell at the half-hour and failed to equal the numbers "Eleventh Hour" had been drawing in the same slot, though "CSI" was also on the low side as its lead-in.

I didn't watch Harper's Island, mainly because it looks too gratuitously gory for me, but I'm not sure whether to root for its failure or success. Failure might make CBS more likely to give EH another chance. On the other hand, if Harper's Island is really bad, people might tune into other stations and get hooked on Southland or Private Practice, and then not return to EH even if it does come back in the Fall.

I've really got to stop thinking about this stuff, or my brain will melt.

Hi all RS and EH fans! Some of the fans and I over at the CBS forums came up with a couple of game plans to assure that this wonderful show (and its amazing actor) gets picked up for its second season. We do not want to leave it to fate! So, we are all doing a few things.

First, we are all sending CBS a watch, set on 11:00, with a note saying something witty such as "Counting the hours until Eleventh Hour is back". It can be an old watch of yours or whatever. Just make sure it stays on 11:00 and also remember to jot down that you are a huge fan that is awaiting the news of its renewal.

Second, we all have been going to the CBS site and, under the 'User Feedback' link at the bottom, providing feedback daily. Just asking for its renewal, or explaining why we love the show so much, telling them what a superb leading man they have, etc, etc.

Please join us in this effort. It will be well worth it next year when we have our show back, and who doesn't want to see the delicious Rufus in our living rooms once a week!

Really? Well, that is cool, right? We are all on the same wavelength at least. And we just might still do that, too, but for now, we knew that the watches would be a tad easier to send than the clocks.
