I know I know I know that I'm odd, but you must understand; I'm checking out every detail as far as Rufus's person is concerned:) in some shots (in EH) I've noticed Jacob Hood wearing some kind of a .. black string around his neck, it appears sporadically but it's quite noticeable, like when he and Rachel Young watch other the baby (Minamata??) in the hospital, through the glass.. I've spotted that also in the last episode (18, Medea) As I figured out from the latest photos of Roof pasted here, he indeed started wearing something on his neck (also in fotos with Billy).. so I don't know, maybe it's the same thing, maybe he would just forgot to take it off sometimes  (in EH)? |

I asked the same question in the Media section on the Soloist premier thread. My post is the last one on page 1. I too noticed the string/cord,/ribbon while watching EH and in some of the pics on the board. Perhaps it is something that his son, Billy, made for Rufus ?? It would be interesting to find out what it is. I'll keep watching the board !!!!!

Famke, you may be correct on that, a jeweler friend of mine said it's the hottest craze for men these days. He's been selling quite a few south sea and tahitian pearls to men on a cord.

I wondered if it was maybe an end-of-season gift from Marley. I hadn't noticed him wearing it in the episodes, only when he's been out and about since filming ended.

Gabi is right...he actually is wearing it in a couple EH episodes- I totally noticed it too...because I was thinking...Oh what a funky, bohemian thing for Dr. Hood to have on....INTRIGUING!
