Lassie, sorry to hear your little chap isn't very well - hope the injections do the trick and he's right as rain again soon. Looking forward to seeing a pic.
As for getting him in the carrier, good luck! I just pick mine up and plonk her in before she knows what's happening!

Do some Maine Coons have that much white fur? No idea, actually - it was the thick fur that made me think of Maine Coons. Maybe there's one somewhere among her distant ancestors Lassie, hope your cat gets better soon! We never found the perfect trick for luring our cats into the carrier. Usually it was teamwork with one family member grabbing the cat and shoving it into the basket and another closing the door as quickly as possible

How strange that there are so many of you with multiple cats, I have three at the moment but at one time I had eleven, all at the same time, a long story there. I don't know how to post pics yet but can describe my "fur babies". The eldest is Mitzi, a 14 year old black female, then comes Spike, a 10 year old ginger male who wants to rule the roost, then my lovely boy siamese, Skeet who is 9 and has the sweetest nature of any cat I have ever had (and that is a lot). I also had a brown burmese male called Nikki who was almost 19 but I had to make "the" decision a couple of years ago, it almost broke my heart, he was my favourite, I still miss him sorely.

Funny, isn't it, Tocophilite, that so many of us here have (or have had) cats! But 11, that's about the record. I have 1 cat at the moment, named Jimi, and I've had cats before, but three of my earlier cats died when they were 2 years old (of various causes) - that's the hard part of loving animals. I got my first cat for my first birthday. He practically grew up with me and lived to be 16.

Yeah cats are great, as are most animals.... Mr LTM and I have enjoyed the company of many moggies (and a couple of pedigrees) over the years, but the most we have owned at any one time has been five. And I must say that it was pretty crowded in the cat basket when they were all in it together. ;D I have never lived in a house where there have not been animals. Even when I have lived in and worked (in my younger days) there have always been animals present. Usually a cat or dog or both.

Judy I must agree with Rueful - these videos are so charming!
PS: Hal and Zemina are both fully in agreement with the comments that you, KMK and LTM kindly posted!
Vain little things!

KQ, love your kitties!
Love Henri in those videos, too, though a little worried about his depression. Poor thing! The look on his face when he turned from the "Pay Attention to Cats" tile was so funny!
