Aw, that's a beauty Isn't it funny how they always try to get into the luggage when you're packing for a holiday? ;D

What handsome chaps! I especially love that last pic of Paddy - had he spotted a birdie?

Ooooh, they are so cute! Cookie looks a total darling, and Snoopy's a beauty. (Is she a Maine Coon or something like that?)

Lovely pics, Meg! I love Cookie's sandy-coloured fur. My cat, like Snoopy, also likes sitting on my shoes - even when I'm wearing them!

Lovely, pics and very cute pets. My cat is poorly at the moment and I took him to the vets tonight. He has had a couple of injections and we will have to wait and see. Does anyone have any tricks to get their cat in the pet carrier easily Amazing how much energy they suddenly have when they are avoiding going to the vets!!! Will post a pic of him soon.

Thank you ladies! Kate, regarding your question about Snoopy: we don't actually know. It's hard to even determine, because all her brothers and sisters were different colours (so I was told, anyway). We guessed Maine Coon in the beginning, thinking she would grow, but she hasn't grown half as much as we thought she would. She'll be 9 in August (Cookie will be 14 in April). She's very small compared to other cats I've known and definitely smaller than most Maine Coons I've seen. The whiteness of her chest is what throws us off. Do some Maine Coons have that much white fur? I love that little mark on her nose. She's had that as long as we've had her. At first we thought it might have been a scratch mark that would heal eventually, but it's a little freckle. How cute is that? You can't tell from the pics I've posted, but she has pure white socks on her front and back paws, but on one of her front paws she has one little brown toe. So cute! Lassie, my sister and I used to dread getting Snoopy into her carrier to take her to the vet. We never use it except to take her to the vet, so Snoopy knows what's happening every time we get it out (she then runs up the stairs and hides under a bed). Now we just pick her up and carry her to it before she can sense that something's up. We usually put a blanket inside it for her so she's comfortable but by the time we get to the vet, she's so frightened that she rolls herself in a ball right at the back of the carrier and hides underneath the blanket! Poor thing.
