Oh, Ellie, sorry to hear you're unwell (and, no, you can't have Rufus instead of Night Nurse!)

Ok, I'm here now. I finished to watch DB with a new friend of mine (it's a tax for becoming my friend ;D) and in the middle I stopped it to see the event. I saw very bad but the sound was quite good, I've a 10 years old mac, too slow for streaming video. I posted my Q many times ( "from Italy: Rufus - What the curse word did you use mostly in the jungle or elsewhere during shooting?") and I got my answer, but I don't know if I caught it well, he said "fox dick" or "F***, dick" or what else? Someone could tell me what is the exact Q (I didn't hear it) and the full A? Well, I was excited to be on line with our man, this is the first time for me! Now I'm waiting for Ruthie report.

Question of a personal nature to Ofelia and Glo Are you spanish and italian respectively ? If so , do you understand the remarks of a .. dubious not to say filthy nature made on post ? Just being nosy, you understand? Going to bed now Exhausted after all that trudging through the jungle with Paul. Hello Frannie, what are you talking about? What did I say?

Welcome Aviva.
I have tried with no success in trying get to the links for the Q & A. Sounds like I didn't miss much though. I was hoping that perhaps the film would have a showing at our local Hamptons Film Festival, but sadly it is not on the sked.

So you meant that maybe one of us said something that we didn't realize that could be understood in a diferent way (without wanting to)? I don't know... did I say something?

Good Morning Ladies! Well what can I say, other than I had the best night ever! ;D Rufus did not attend the screening, so we had to wait until the end of the film until we saw him. When he walked in I just froze, I could not keep my eyes off of him. The film, I found quite distubring, but Rufus was so believable in the role and I agree with GE2 about it being confusing in some parts. Both my friend and I found Emmanuelle's pout a bit tiring by the end though! Not sure how I feel about it. Visually beautiful. Very confusing. Rufus wonderful. Emmanuelle's lips = very distracting! As most of you watched/listened to the Q&A, you commented that the sound was not great, well it wasn't that much better in the cinema as Fabrice did not have a mic and Rufus' one was hand held so unless he spoke directly into it, it was hard to hear eveything that was said. There were quite a few empty seats, but other than it being mentioned on here, I did not hear or see it advertised anywhere and even when my husband collected the tickets he said that there was a small poster in the foyer - which we didn't even see on the night! When the Q&A finished the production company rushed them out and I thought "Oh no, I'm not even going to get a photo with him" but fortunately for us he was still outside the cinema when we came out, although he was in deep discussion with Fabrice and the Team so we did not want to disturb him, but there were about 6 of us hanging around and he could see that we wanted something so a guy asked him if he wouldn't mind if we took some photos and he was happy to oblige. I took 4 photos and asked him if he would sign my Charles II DVD which he did with " To Manuela, lots of love and thanks for everything, Rufus Sewell xx". I then told him that I was a member of the Forum and he asked me where I had travelled from to come here tonight, I asked him about TPOTE, he said that he woud like to do more independent films, theatre and then I explained that my husband wanted to come tonight but had to work so he asked that if he is ever in the neighbourhood to pop into the restaurant for a meal and gave him a business card, he asked me where it was and said yes. All in all we chatted for about 10 mins and he is so easy to talk to. My friend was not a Rufus fan as she had only seen him in a couple of things, but she found him very charming, again easy to talk to and very attractive. His eyes are so mesmerising you almost feel like you are in a trance when you look straight into them. I have not stopped smiling since I came home, he truly is a beautiful man! I will try to post the photos but might need help! Manuela x

Ruthie! I mean Manuela!! (Should we call you that from now on?) My eyes are greener than ever now, with envy! Thank you so much for your report - what a wonderful time you had, not only to be there for the Q&A but to spend so much time with him afterwards. And photos! Thank you for letting us see you with Rufus. Some people get a little shy and edit to only show him, so you're being very brave. Or maybe just chuffed to bits!!! (Chuffed = very excited, for those who don't know!) Probably just as well he wasn't at the screening - imagine watching a *cough* certain scene and knowing he was in the same room....embarrassing! (Just as much for him!! ;D) Thanks again!

Manuuuuuuu, as I told you, you're great and your report is fabulous as your photos and you both look gorgeous! Perhaps you could see him eating oneaday! ;D You has been very cold and professional to ask him those questions, brava! We are all proud of you, aren't we? Every times someone meets him they said he's much better in person and I can't believe how it is possible! baci baci glo

Nicely done, Manuela! Surprised he didn't wander off with you & your friend - you're both gorgeous!!
So where is your husband's restaurant? My husband & I used to have one in once upon a time in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He's moved into the medical field now, but I still get the benefits of his gourmet cooking.
Thanks for the pictures!!
