I caught the last 20 minutes. They were talking about Vinyan & Calvaire and Downloading Nancy. Then the good stuff - POTE still going on and Roof's happy with the various production companies, so no one entity has a hold over what they do. He took a good shot at CBS, saying how one person can tell you what color your hair or shoes should be. Ha!
Also mentioned the stage next year. Possibly something small? Then they joked it was really Oklahoma! ;D
Would like to hear the whole interview if it is rebroadcast at some point.

just managed to get home from work in time to listen to Roofie .  great interview. Listened to it with Glo's pillars pic on screen Have tried to download but think I may be too incompetent to get it on board .Am stiil downloding rest of Mayo prog ,will try when it is finished. Not to hold out to much hope though. Discussed vinyan at length and his views on other work he has done and how he is trying trying to vary it lapprox 25 mins so plenty of him. What an intelligent articulate gentleman he is Shows his serious side mostly with little glimpses of his humour, and what a lovely dirty laugh |

Ooh, yes, very very good point, wichi, so others don't have to listen to an hour of cricket and formula 1 racing like I did this morning! However, I think it's a bit earlier, between 1:04 and 1:05.

I just finished listening to the interview! What a great way to spend my lunch hour. Rufus is so articulate and intelligent and just plain interesting to listen to.  I LOVED his comments about CBS! I can't see him ever going to work on an American TV network show ever again. LOL! And, yes, rueful is right ... Roof's portion of the program starts around 1:05ish. |

Thanks for the link...it finally worked on my computer and I was able to listen to Rufus. Even though I miss Eleventh Hour, I believe Rufus is much happier being free to explore many different avenues. He is not a man who needs the security of a weekly series, he is much more adventurous than that. I only hope I will be able to see POTE In the next year.

 I'm listening to it now... I have said this many times on this board but I just LOVE his voice... I tried to play the games while listening but I can't concentrate... I'm not sure what I might end up posting!!!!

I'm wondering because the interview was interrupted at about 1:14 or so for them to listen for a couple of minutes to President Mugabe speaking in Philadelphia. And then the interview with Rufus picked back up again. |
