It looks like Rufus is back in the UK, possibly for a short trip or maybe he has finished filming his part in POTE, who knows but he was spotted in Vats Wine Bar in Bloomsbury on Tuesday night and a couple of days earlier travelling, I'm assuming using the London underground, but how lucky was the guy sitting next to him, I'm sure we would have pushed everyone out of the way to get that seat!  Dreamer found this out on Twitter earlier today and asked me if he had popped into the restaurant, as the Wine Bar refused to serve him any food and as it is not even 5 mins away, but unfortunately I couldn't confirm if he did or didn't as my father was working that evening and he would not have recognised Rufus! Sounds like some family education is necessary, Ruthie!  Maybe post photos of him in the back of the restaurant (as though he were the local newspaper restaurant critic)? |

Maybe - HOPEFULLY - he was lining up another role for after Pillers. The powers that be are supposed to do a continuation of Upstairs Downstairs. I'd love to see Rufus do a romantic/heroic role in that.

Ruthie, you need security cameras in the restaurant so you can keep a constant watch out for him!!!
Fancy the wine bar refusing to serve him food, poor love!!! Don't they know he's always hungry. You'd think they'd make an exception for RUFUS!!!!

Greetings all! Yes, Rufus has been in London on a regular basis. Had a little chat with him this evening. He'll be done filming POTE in a couple weeks and be happy to shave off his beard.
No news to report. He's had offers of things to do, but nothing that strikes his fancy. As he said before, he's willing to sit it out and wait for something he really wants to do.
That's it!

Thanks for the update, Rai.  I'm sorry to hear there's nothing definite yet, but as usual, we know he'll hold out for something good. LOL about getting rid of the beard - this time it'll have to be the Unemployment Shave!! (hope he keeps some stubble, though  ) |

Thanks for passing on the news, Rai! I'm glad Rufus is holding out for something really good. I'll miss that full beard, but if it means Roof is getting ready for something new, I'll suffer though the beard withdrawal! |
