It is now even better than it was before. I absolutely cannot wait to hear his real voice. I loved it in Dangerous Beauty. I hope if it is a feature film it will get to the US. It sounds very much like a movie that can draw US audiences. I am ecstatic.

Renata,
Thank you so much. What a great idea !!
Living here in Southern Calif. in the Pacific time zone I am usually late in finding articles/info about Rufus. I will continue try to contribute to the board when I "discover" something for all of us cheer on Rufus, the talented genius that he is... and kinda good looking too !!

Forgive me but how do you pronounce "Aurelio"? Ah-rell-e-o, Ah-reel-e-o, O-rell-e-o, O-reel-e-o??? If shooting begins this spring, there still might be time for him to do "The Ushers" if he's indeed signed on for that. Our boy is going to have a busy summer!

I try to teach you the Italian pronunciation: au = how re = re (like "re-lic") li = lee o = o (like "o-n")

He mentioned that other gooood stuff about which I must still remain silent, but no Usher in the near future. Sorry to be so secretive, but I take those blood oaths seriously! Rai xxx

It's only because the same production company made Branagh's series "Wallander", Tip.

I am happy if there is no Usher in Rufus' future. I did not think that could be a good vehicle. This seems more like a vehicle that he could get mileage out of. I am very happy for him and I wish him success. He is a wonderful actor.

I love being a Rufus fan. Yesterday I had no idea that I would trawlling the library looking for Michael Dibdin's books. I have requested a couple of books from the Zen series- one is coming from a youth offenders institute and the library said they had no idea what state it would be in!! The library could not find a copy of Vendetta so in the end I have had to order it from Amazon. Now all I need to do is to find a way to get to Rome. I'm sure it would be very educational to see all that history, culture, etc in the Spring, but I think the family would have something to say about my spending the housekeeping on trips abroad. I'm sure they would all love to eat beans on toast for a few months or perhaps bread and water and then I could go for even longer!! No harm in dreaming I suppose.

Renata's site is great, isn't it? The archive stuff seems to have a lot that was on another site that went offline - I thought we'd lost all that, so YAY!
