Heard from Roof again this evening! He says "don't get too excited" about the role - it's small but cool. That's okay with me! Also affirmed my raving about how gorgeous Angelina looks and said she's also very nice. Good to hear. Rufus pulls no punches - if she were not, he'd say so.

As long as it's a great movie, small but cool is good - and a drama/thriller sounds great!! Better than a lame rom com any day. Jolie movies are often a bit ordinary but Depp can usually pick a good project.

I will be at the theatre for this one! So exciting. I think Angie gets a bad wrap. She's done some great work. I thought she was great in Beyond Borders. I want to drop everything and go help in a third world country everytime I see it.

Part of me gets depressed that such a fine actor does not get recognized but part of me is thrilled that he is getting closer to his goal of leaving behind the medieval roles and stepping into more contemporary roles. He is very patient. A virtue I sometimes lack but at least I will get to see him on the big screen and small parts have a way of offering big things.

I'm really pleased he has a "small but cool role" - better than a large and lame one!! I know I'm getting a bit ahead of myself here, but can't wait for the film premiere. I have a friend who loooves Johnny Depp and now I'll have no problem persuading someone to go along with me. Now all I have to do is keep fingers crossed that it will premiere in UK. Perhaps I should invest in a tent to camp out???

I have to agree with you, vmaciv. It is a bit depressing. Rufus is a very talented actor and should take Depp's place!! But we do have TPOTE and Aurelio Zen to look forward to! And hopefully Rai is keeping more secrets from us that she'll be able to reveal soon! (Anyone know if she can be bribed with chocolate? ;D)
