I've been having the writer's block of my life for the past few months, but I miss writing, so I tried my hand at some more miniatures for the Shuffle Challenge: Moments VII

How very lovely Kate! I have to say I'm in awe of your ability to write these little gems. Thank you for sharing them with us and I hope they've helped with your writer's block.

Thanks, Rachel! And yes, I think it did help a little to unravel that knot in my head. I definitely have an idea for my next story now.

Yes Rachel, luckily all my breaks were to my left side and I am right handed so, I could write by hand with a pad on the arm of the chair. The hardest part has been when I could use my left, copying what I had written onto the p.c It took me ages

Finally got a chance to read it and of course I loved it. I think Rupert is more his mother's son than his father's though. Very good job Frannie.

Yay, some new stories to look forward to! I'll read and review them as soon as I can (and I hope I'll get something written myself during the summer silly season ...)

Kate - after you read it go back and re-read Frannie's story, "Not Michelangelo's David" It's a companion piece. I did that myself and it only added to my enjoyment of this new one. Frannie, there are both great.

Thanks for this beautiful instalment in your TOTS series, Frannie! I absolutely loved it, and it seems young Rupert is something of a soulmate to me. His thoughts and feelings reminded me so much of my own youth. Can't wait to see this continued, maybe with a little trip to Italy?

Thanks ladies ! Glad you enjoyed it.
There is more in process. I think I love Rupert almost as much as his father ... not least because he won't let me go!

How lovely! I thoroughly enjoyed reading them and have left you a little review at FF.net.
Funny enough, I was thinking about another entry in the challenge just this morning (but not sure if I'll get around to it any time soon).
