Thank you numbat. What a fabulous story. Quite uplifting I thought too ! You had to get the ginger beer in there didn't you  along with shades of Petruchio ! (you don't think that leg jiffle passed me by did you? LOL) That's not the tune I had in my mind as the 1812 overture though - your clip was more the charge to battle, in my little brain it was the bit with the cannon fire at the end of the overture. Now that would have woken the whole plane up, especially if he'd hit this book on the tray table for the explosion sound effects !  |

Ah numbat so that's what you've been up to. Writing fanfics that is - not suggesting you've been replaying that ginger beer bit over and over of course !  I will have to try to read the latest installment before I go away. I'm supposed to be packing right now though ! Seem to have lots of visitors calling in too. So much to do - so little time..... |

Numbat are you psychic or what? I woke up today with my slipped disc in my back acting up and just
in a generally foul mood. Then I get to the gym and saw this latest (heartwrenching) installment. Truly you must write professionally, you made me forget me and my little problems and focus on poor Anna. I would cry but I am still at the g and the women already think I am batty! Thank you, made my day.

That was fabulous as ever numbat. I managed to squeeze it in, in between packing & bed time ! Poor Anna hey ! That surfer did sound alot like Josh Holloway in my imagination  Looks like things are looking up then ! I hope you get as much enjoyment from writing as we all do from reading these  That will keep me going until I've a minute to settle down with Aurelio. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou !!!!! |

I was actually a bit apprehensive about this story because i thought it was a bit melodramatic, long and rambling (and had no sex in it!!!) but people seemed to have liked it so that's encouraging. I've always had a lot of sympathy for Anna, so i do want things to work out for her as well eventually.
And the writing involved a little (well a lot) of tears on my part so it's good to know that you felt the same.
I think Anna actually represents us (ie, love him but can't have him) so she deserves our support!!!

Really enjoyed the story and feel for Anna. She is a classy lady to realize it really did not work for them and to want him to be happy. She does really love him. No matter who she is with I am sure Jacob will always be in her heart and head to some extent. Hope she is happy with the surfer guy!
