It never hurts to have a picture of a hottie front and center, does it? Hee, hee. Now, what's with this Nigel business for Ruf's guy still? I thought that was rather decided against for various reasons, no? (ha) Ironically, I think it's Rufus' character that resembles a manly "Frank" much more than Depp's does to me.  I'm trying to think of a better one for Johnny's shyer, sweeter dude, but coming up short...Sebastian? Roger? Walter? Ugh. What can I say, someone got a good one? All I know is "Frank" sounds like a tougher guy name to me. However, I did think up another unsuspecting plot twist that unfortunately (for y'all) I can't seem to help sharing. ;D What if Ruf's guy and Dalton's guy etc are truly Mcguffins in the sense that they are false leads of being the bad guy (named Alex in the trailer I believe) and Alex REALLY turns out to be Angie's character that had sex- reassignment as well as plastic surgery?? Didn't see THAT one coming did you?!!!  (And probably for good reason, but I just had to wonder) Of course we've all seen movies or read articles about how difficult these male to female surgical transformations can be. And it has been said time and again that the FIRST cut can be the most painful of them all. And we all know what THAT is... The cut in PAY. Ouch!! |

My source tells me that the preview will be before the release date - probably the previous Monday or Tuesday night. Maybe the preview in the US will be a different date - they're bound to want first dibs on it. Ever the optimist !  |

It does seem like a possibility that they might have some of the stars in Hollywood premiere and some others at the London premiere, if they're both on the same date. If that's the case, maybe London would get "The Englishman." For your sakes, I hope so!

You're all going to think I'm crazy and obsessive (with good reason), especially considering all the photo goodness we've had the last couple of days, but I decided to look at the trailer for The Tourist again, and I think I've caught a tiny, blurry glimpse of Rufus. It's in the first, longer trailer, when AJ and JD are dancing at the ball. At 1:27, there is a crowd of men to the left, and Roof would be the one farthest in the background--only his head is visible. In this image, it's hard to tell. Then the trailer cuts briefly to another scene and then back to the ball. JD dips her, and over his left shoulder in the background, again we see the tall, dark, handsome  stranger. This would be freezing it at 1:33-1:34.
