Hi!
After sending a mail a few days ago to the german tv station SAT1 I got today an answer back. They told me that Pillars will be airing in Germany in fall/winter. They haven't an excat date for it till now. Just for those of you who are from germany like me and germanylady. I don't know if there is another one from Germany here too.
For those of you who can german here is their answer:
Der Spielfilmmehrteiler “Säulen der Erde” wird von SAT.1 koproduziert, die Ausstrahlung ist in SAT.1 für den kommenden Herbst/Winter geplant.
Sendetermine stehen aber noch nicht fest, diese werden rechtzeitig in und durch SAT.1 bekannt gegeben.

I don't get German nicole but I get Rufus. I'm really pleased for all you ladies in Germany. It's pure torture when you don't know if something new will get shown. Especially when all the other fangirls are jumping up and down about it.  |

Is important for me to know that it will broadcast SAT1, I read somewhere that it will be on Pro7.
Yea, Aus still have to wait for the report.

Maybe you have already seen this by now, but here is the German website (which I found via David Oakes's twittering, which I found via Numbat, so thanks, Numbat). It won't let me watch the videos but there are a couple images I haven't seen before. It won't let me post the images here, but in the Tom Builder gallery there is a full body shot of Tom on a plain background--perfect for turning into a refrigerator magnet, if you are so inclined. ;D I also like the closeup cave picture, which seems to be a little different from the ones we already have seen. www.sat1.at/die-saeulen-der-erde/bilder/content/46824/The "Making of Galerie" (tab up at top) also has a lot of pics, some of which seem to be new. |

That's funny. I saw it also first via David Oakes tweed. I looked at the videos and pictures. Fantastic side. And a very long interview with Rufus. That's really brilliant. But the horrible synchro voice of Tom Builder is making me sick.

Thanks so much Rueful! There are not only the pics, but they also mention that Sat1 will start to air TPOTE in Germany on >:(Montag 15.November 20.15 Uhr! But they announce just four parts and I cannot find out how long each part will take..... |

Saw the first trailer for 'The Pillar of the Earth' on German-TV. There will be only 4 episodes but longer ones... That was a nice surprise, yesterday.

Haven't read the book 'TPOTE' before the TV series, but I couldn't stand the chance:
When I saw this book that has a cover with Rufus on it I had to buy it. There are two more
pics of him inside. (No new photos but anyway a nice plus.)
