Nicole, your efforts are very much appreciated - really they are!!!
Especially seeing as I can't watch the SAT1 clip. It gives me a message that i can't actually read because it's in German. I assume it's because i'm not in Germany. When you think about it, putting a message in German for people who aren't in Germany isn't very helpful is it, LOL!!! But i suppose non english speakers have the same problem with US/UK clips.
So i'll be watching your clip on youtube nicole - thanks for all your hard work xxx
;D

I tried to watch Nicole's clip on YouTube but I was not able to do so. There was a message which stated something about Starz material and copywrite. Did anyone else have this problem

That's funny! Yesterday when I realized that my recording of Rufus at the breakfast tv was only 2 minutes because SAT1 broadcasted earlier than they had announced, I sent an email to them and asked them to put the interview online. Today Nicole's upload on you tube is blocked, but there's an interview with Rufus on SAT1 - but it's not the one which should have been on my tape - that ended with the "no ikea" reply.
It seemed to me that SAT1 has split up the whole interview into 4 parts that are prepared to be shown on breakfast tv every Monday morning as an extra advert for the following evening TPOTE episode.
But now I've checked the SAT1 video and the pics GE2 posted from the breakfast tv and I'm not quite that this was one interview, there may have been more, or the single parts were recorded separately. What do you think?

What's even more annoying about the Sat1 site is that they let us watch the advertisement (of course) and then tell us we can't watch the clip!! Grrrrrr! But thank you to all the German members who have tried so hard to let the rest of us see it! We really appreciate all your efforts!

I'll do it (still working on it!), but the quality will be very bad.

Thanks for the SAT1 link! This pink studio looks hideous, but I loved those tight jeans he wore *drooling* The interviewer was quite as stupid as the one at 7 a.m., and it was fun to see that slightly ironic look on Rufus's face which the TV guy probably didn't even notice. And that side remark on Tom Cruise was so cool

I'm no expert on computers as other members of the board, so I can't make the interview on SAT1 available for everyone on the rooftop, but I can make a short summary of it (without the film parts that are shown)
Q:How did Rufus prepared for his part? A: he read the book, and then the first episode of the script and made some research. The shooting took place in Budapest and for 2 weeks Rufus and Eddie and Liam were working on stones.
Q: whether Rufus is a gifted craftsman A: in his profession Rufus is as far away from this as possible. But when he was a young actor and he had to earn money otherwise, he worked on building sites.
Q. whether Rufus thinks now different about cathedrals, after having been busy about this matter so long? A: When Rufus was in Salisbury cathedral recently, he had a vision of the workers that had built it. Having worked on building sites himself, he imagined how they made their lunch break: perhaps one had more delicious food than others, one was bullied, there was a joker, a laggard one, a deadhead, a popular one in the group. And that's what makes it interesting: how people treat each other on a building site doesn't change, whether in the 12th century or today. If he looks at a cathedral today, he thinks of the people who have built it. It's like a glimpse of humanity.
Q: How was it to work with Natalia Wörner? A: fantastic! They met early for the rehearsals and that was a happenstance. The parts fitted into one another and there was a good chemistry between them. Then it's not difficult to act. It was great to work with her.
Q: Being a leading actor in TPOTE, does that make you proud? A: How is that? For me it was very exciting and fun. When he read the script for the 1st time, he thought , maybe they haven't seen him as Tom Builder, but when he played it, he had so much passion for the part, he is glad that they changed their mind.
Q: How did Rufus prepare for the fighting scenes? A: Rufus did not prepare especially. He says that he is quite contrary of Tom Cruise. he thinks that people see what he does. For him it's important that people see him through his part. When he was doing "The Legend of Zorro" he spent much time on the fighting scenes, but this time it worked quite well. That's how he likes it.
Q: What may the audience expect on the 2nd part? A: There'll be many surprises, romances - he doesn't want to give away too much now
