Repeating what I asked Uke in a PM, here: We don't want to violate the rules of Proboards, since it is their site. However, I think it would be nice if "adult content" were a little more specific. That way we would be sure not to have any future problems.

Does adult content include language and tone of conversation, or only actual pictures? Is a pic of Rufus bare-chested (for example, in the pool or training in The Knight's Tale) considered"adult"? What about a pic that implies adult activities but is from the chest up (for example, Tristan and Isolde on their wedding night) or contains no nudity (for example, Tom and Ellen in the cave)? What about links to other sites (for example, links to roofsewell.com, where most of these pics are found)?

This is what they say in their terms of service (I bolded what is probably the relevant line):

18. OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT

Those words ("obscene", "lewd" etc) can mean different things to different people, so I hope our standards match theirs. Uke, have you been able to ask Proboards to clarify what they mean specifically in regards to our site?

Anyway, I see numbat has started deleting pics. I can continue to work my way through Cap-Its, which is probably the worst offender. I'll start at the beginning and work forward, so eventually we'll meet in the middle. If it's not too time consuming, we could put the name of the movie the pic came from, or the character name, or something.

The page they were pointing to was a page from the Cap-It thread that had a photo of Billy's bare bum (now deleted).

Thanks Uke - at least we know that it's a bare bum picture that they're mainly focussing on. Presumably if they thought lots of other things were objectionable they would have referred to them as well.

So i think if we take down the Billy & John butt photos, and Tom & Ellen - not the standing against the cave wall one but the horizontal ones - and Charlie's tongue, we should be ok.

Are there any others that anyone can think of?

I haven't inserted any comments into the spaces of photos that i've deleted so far, but it's a good idea rueful and i'll start doing that now.

I'm currently on page 47 of the Cap-Its (probably would be a bit further along, but I'm having to stop to laugh periodically). I finally copied the phrase "Billy's BB" so I can just paste it, it shows up so often!!! Anyway, Numbat, I suppose the pics of Marke and Isolde's wedding night in T+I probably qualify. I don't remember if there are pics of Marco and what's her name, but those might have to be removed as well.

Sam, we're leaving pictures of his chest. And rueful, i think we should leave the T&I pictures as well - they're only kissing for goodness sake.

I think the ones we need to delete are the bare bums, Tom & Ellen on top of each other (particularly the one when he has his hand on her ***), Mick actually licking Evelyn's chest (boo hoo), and Charlie's tongue. Most of the other very erotic scenes from his movies don't have caps available for us to post (which is the only reason we haven't posted them!!!)

I think we should leave general kissing (where you can't see anything else) and bare chests. I hardly think those pictures are lewd.

But then i do have very low standards ;D

Grrrrr. This really angers me.

Every single image or GIF we had posted was an excerpt from one of Roof's films. NONE of his films could even remotely be considered "adult" and certainly would never be considered "obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, or pornographic."

All that said, I have deleted the GIFs for GTS and that funny little scene of from the start of Illuminata where Dominique has to come up for air.

In the Elimination Game I also deleted a gif of Marke and Isolde on their wedding night because it was "in action." I think it could be argued if they're naked and actually moving in a pic like that, it's fairly erotic.

Ok, well we've done the cap-it's and i've done the Tom & Ellen screencaps (but not the one kissing up against the wall with their clothes on - i mean it's just kissing isn't it? We're the only ones who know what they're actually doing!!)

I'll just do the Dark City and Gone to Seed threads and then i'm off to bed. ;D

(And judy - i completely agree. This is a very stupid thing to have to do!!)

I checked through the Charles II thread (and sadly deleted his lovely tongue). I can't think of any other specific threads to check, but Billy and John and their exceptional attributes pop up in the oddest places (especially the games threads). I hope the Proboards management will see that we have been trying hard to comply.

I was just thingking, why is someone making a movie like "Gone To Seed" with
those "bum-scenes"? And afterwards it is not allowed to show pics of it? I mean the actor
should know that this could happen! So, for me the sentence "I've done it for the money!"
dosen't work for me in those situations! Don't get me wrong, it's just a thought!

Anyway, I hope this will end in a happy end! I'm sure of it!
