Ladies, I just received a message from Proboards:

"Warning from ProBoards

ProBoards does not permit the posting of adult material. Your forum appears to be in violation of this policy. Please remove all offending content from your forum within 48 hours or further action will be taken."

So that we don't get shut down, PLEASE DO NOT post photos of bare bums and/or screenshots of scenes that are adult in nature.

This is really important and scary, do you mods think we should maybe put this announcement in more than one place? I myself rarely check this far down on the board, but maybe I am the only one. Just a thought, because I really don't want to see us get shut down. We've already been through that experience and it wasn't pretty.

Good lord, what's a bare bum amongst friends - really!!!

But if we've been told, then we'd better heed the warning because we certainly don't want to get shut down.

Uke - maybe for the most impact, you need to change the title of that sticky warning to NO BARE BUMS because it won't take long until people stop reading it. Make it more specific and then no one will miss the point of the message.

Nobody wants us to get shut down though. I've noticed there's still 1 in a wallpaper on page 3. Can someone delete that one ?

Actually, that's a good point nell - the warning that Uke posted above actually says that we have to remove all offending content within 48 hours.

So it's not just that we have to stop posting the BB pictures, but that we have to remove the ones that are already there which is going to be no easy task.

I know we've had a few on Movie of The Week thread because of DC and GTS, which i will remove. And probably we need to go through the Cap-it thread because there's bound to be some there. I can do that a bit later, but just popped in here for a minute and don't have time to do it just now. But i will do the Movie of The Week thread.

But the question is, are the BB shots only what they're referring to. We haven't had any particularly naughty conversations lately anywhere have we??? - i'm certainly not aware of any. But do Proboards monitor words as well as images? Or have we just been randomly audited?

What about some of the Tom & Ellen screencaps? It would actually help if they could be a bit more specific as to what "adult content" is.

Sorry Sam, but i think we should take down the Dark City wallpaper.

I will do it for you, but if you ever want to do it yourself, you just have to log on and then go to the post and click on "modify post" and then you can remove the picture. Or just "delete post" if you want to remove the whole thing.

I won't take down AKT wallpaper or the GTS one that only has his chest - I'm assuming a bare chested man isn't considered to be adult content.

But don't worry, the warning isn't specifically for you. Those BB pictures are posted by plenty of us all the time.

Judy, rueful, Ge2, uke - I've been back as far as p145 in the cap-it thread and deleted the bare bum photos and also the one from CharlesII with his tongue (because that one is a little bit erotic), and Tom on top of Ellen in the cave. You must know how it pains me to do it though!!! But i've left the other "morning after" type shots as they're only 2 people lying in bed, and i haven't deleted Mark Gertler in his very fetching togs because, well i just can't bring myself to do it. He is dressed after all. ;D

Feel free to go backwards from p145, but i have to go to the dreaded PTA meeting!!! I would much rather be looking back through the cap-it thread tho. There really is some very funny stuff there!!! ;D

Hey Sam - mailing wallpaper I may hold you to that ! I'm glad I saved the ones so far !

As I mentioned to numbat I'll have time to do some thread scanning this evening. If there's a block of pages that you'd like me to check can one of the mod's/administrators let me know and I'll be happy to help. Please advise who I need to flag them up with though as I obviously can't amend unless they're my own posts. I'll take a look around 7p.m. uk time.

Ok will do. I had a bit of time on my lunch break. No BB's but Cap it's pages 137 and 141 there's a pic on each that may need to go. I got back as far as 135 and all the rest looked ok.
