Another Tweet from overnight:
trishaashley: I enjoyed Zen last night. You know, every year I put Rufus Sewell on my Christmas present list, and I never get him.
(Me neither - funny that!)

I spent a lovely hour trawling through all the Zen tweets this afternoon. As GE2 mentioned, there are A LOT!!!
I'd transcribe more of them here but my favourite ones are all unrepeatable. They all tend to start this way "Rufus Sewell, I'd like to.........."
;D

Not sure where to put this, but the MSN's tv editor tweeted about the ratings: Coops_msntv: Ratings: Promising start for the BBC's #Zen, which beat ITV's Miss Marple to average 5.1m (But she seems to have retweeted something about the show itself, so to her.)

There are few crabby comments, aren't there? Someone commented last night that most of the snarky ones were from men (jealous of the attention their ladies were paying Rufus, maybe?) but some today are from women.....women with no taste, obviously.
(I'm supposed to be catching up with e-mails today, but can't resist keeping Twitter on a tab to dip in to. Here, too!)

Most of the comments are so sour, aren't they? Not that it's not possible to have legitimate disagreements about the program, but most of the comments on twitter seem like they're actually angry at the positive responses to the show and/or Rufus. Weird.

Yeah, some of my friends can't understand how I prefer Rufus to actors like Brad Pit and Johnny Depp. Erm because he is gorgeous and he can act!

janedinas: Four words: Rufus.Sewell.Zen.Bellissimo!
Lady_Chloe_: Battered bruised & soaking wet Rufus Sewell - yum!
Catski22: That's that settled then. I'm never, ever getting in a car with Rufus Sewell. Because I'm sure that situation will arise at some point.
Tv2_normal pauseliveaction: Zen: Rufus scorches, Rome smoulders
SilvanadeS: Food shopping + cooking + eating + knitting + Rufus Sewell on T.V = Bliss, heaven,lovely.
- that last one surely was innocent enough?

Well the ratings appear to be good And that is all that counts. I did notice in the US when we were desperately trying to get 11th Hour renewed that there were some very miserable people around who made it very personal. I do believe it does have something to do with not being American so how can he be a hunk. The answer is really simple because he is!!!!

This was the one I was coming to post too, Anyother, because don't we all feel this way? Ohhh yess! (Even if I haven't really found out what exactly makes blood-stained, half-drowned Rufus so darn sexy ...) beaglelover7: Have discovered that being 31 you start swooning over all the men you fancied as a teenager, but in a " new" way. Rufus Sewell...sigh... ) This made me laugh. It's even possible at this very age to fall in love with him if you didn't even know he existed when you were a teenager

Nothing to do with Zen...but had to laugh at the driving tweets. Maybe he doesnt know which side of the road he is supposed to be on. Id take my chances with him in the car though. The comments are just jealousy or people who have no taste. Lots of tweet action!
