Intense we may be, but not always serious and anything but PC.You're not the first to refer to Rufus as Sewell..pretty sure I did that at some point, jfly.

Hello everyone! I absolutely loved Illuminata...it was hysterical! Sewell and Walken are both incredibly talented actors and I was delighted to see them in the same film. For any of you who are having a hard time finding some of Sewell's movies, you might try checking YouTube for fragmented versions. Some users will post a movie broken down into smaller segments, but in its entirety. I have watched Cold Comfort Farm, The Taming of the Shrew, and Uncorked this way. I have also seen Illuminata posted there recently. I now usually just buy the DVDs on eBay and some sellers even have a few autographed copies (but please check the seller's ratings first so that you aren't had). Also, if you're having a hard time locating The Taming of the Shrew on DVD, try searching for Shakespeare Retold. I hope this helps! ;D Welcome jfly! I'm one of those who can't reach to find Illuminata. Please, will you tell us the YouTube link of that fragmented version? Thanks I found only The Woodlanders segments, luckily!!!

Hey jfly!!! Pleased to meet you!!! ;D (Stama - if Amazon is unavailable, then ebay is your best bet for getting a copy of Illuminata.) numbat thanks, e-bay is the only place where it is possible for me to find a DVD, not yet resolved the problems with payments in our currency, e-Bay is available in our country only a few months yet so everything is not working as it should. But once more thanks for your advice!!! Welcome jfly! I also join with Dreamer too, so please, will you tell us the YouTube link of that fragmented version?

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I searched YouTube for the Illuminata link and it seems they've yanked the movie...sigh. I took the time to search several other movie sites, but alas, no luck. Sorry to disappoint you! I will keep an eye out for it, though. If I could, I'd invite you all over to my house to watch it...lol.

My feedback......I LOVE IT!!!! I studied art for about 4 years, so it's not a big surprise that I would like this film I also wanted to work as a stage designer, but it didn't work That's why I love this film even more, I think! I recognised something, maybe it's just me but, Rufus character in this film reminds me of Rufus character in "Martha meet Frank, Daniel and Laurence (The very thought of you)", where he plays Frank. Isn't their behavior the same and the only different is that Dominique looks what he's wearing? I think so! ;D Rufus is so funny in this film, specially in the "F*** you" and "Bastard" scene. I also laughed when he says:"Non?...not me? Not me?" than the door where he's leaning at opens and a guy peeps out and says:"No, not you!" and close the door! Rufus look is priceless in that scene! Now Illuminata is one of my favourite films of Rufus. It's hard to say that, because he's doing everytime in every film a great job. Even when the film is bad. He's great and I'm happy that I saw "A Knight's Tale", because that was the beginning of my Rufusitis! ;D Jesus, I hope I don't sound like a weirdo... Here a very cute pic of Rufus as Dominique: ...and when I saw Rufus in this uniform.... (I love uniforms!)

Ah sh*** I knew it... "OH NO! Not another one...! Don't say anything about my hair or eyes, please!" Thank god I'm not a groopie or a weird woman who's stalking at him. Okay the truth is, if I wanted to stalking at him I'll need a spy-glass to see him...! Or was he ever in Switzerland? I think not. (I'm joking!)

You gals make me want to watch this one again <sighs> Those pics are great Vic - in the first 2 they could well be the smiles I was looking for earlier this week. Regarding the uniform, he does look good in it doesn't he - and out of it !!! That reminds me, it's Gone to Seed this week I must do some contortions now to get behind the tv and swap my scart leads over to video. Illuminata will have to wait another week. Maybe it'll come out the hat soon for movie of the week. You don't sound like a weirdo at all to me Vic. It's those out there that don't know Rufus exists that are a bunch of weirdo's to me ! You're a lady of great taste.

Oh , thank you very much nell. Right now my face looks like this... ;-) I know that Rufus always says that he thinks he looks goofy when he smiles, but those two smiles I've posted here are the perfect proof that he's wrong. But that also shows that he's down-to-earth and not an arrogant actor who thinks he's the one and only! Alright I better stop now... ;-) ...only one more funny pic of Rufus. This scene with the door cracks me up :-D His face is priceless!
