That is probably what my mother saw. I thought I showed it to her from my dvd but she probably forgot and doesnt see well. I could not stand the thought that I had missed something new.
I like Ms Eaton, she and Mr Harries need to put their heads together. I liked the bold print info!

Thanks for finding and posting the NY Times piece and the videos, GE2! I'm with kygal, I hope Ms Eaton and Mr Harries work together to get more episodes off the ground. Grrrr, I keep thinking that it begins airing on PBS in one week, even though I've told other people the correct date (July 17th)! Sometimes my brain makes me sad. Edited to add: July 17th IS just in one week. Sometimes my brain makes me embarrassed too! What planet are we on, again?

Trying to redeem my own stupidity with a blurb from The Christian Science MonitorStylish drama
Fans of the mercurial British actor Rufus Sewell will get a treat this summer with Zen, a new three-part series on PBS's "Masterpiece Mystery!" series. He plays Aurelio Zen, an Italian detective sleuthing his way through a corrupt Italian cityscape – with just the right twinkle in his eye. "Zen" launches July 17 and runs for three weeks.www.csmonitor.com/The-Culture/Arts/2011/0706/Top-Picks-Johnny-Depp-PBS-s-Masterpiece-Mystery!-Placido-Domingo-and-more This is a link to PBS's main Zen page www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/zen/index.htmland here is a link to the PBS video page, which has both of the clips GE2 posted on the previous page of this thread, as well as 3 others. I'm sure they're all from the dvd, but for those of us who don't have the dvd yet.... www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/zen/bts.html#

Sometimes my brain makes me sad. Sometimes my brain makes me embarrassed too! What planet are we on, again? Oh Rueful, you sound just like me! At least your brain's still intact, though. Mine's been missing for just over 22 years! LOL!

Thanks for the extra links, Rueful! Thanks for finding and posting the NY Times piece and the videos, GE2! I'm with kygal, I hope Ms Eaton and Mr Harries work together to get more episodes off the ground. Totally agree! Ha-ha! Sounds like a bad case of (the original meaning of) Rufusitis! Either that or waiting's just become a habit. Planet RUFUS, of course! In the Rufuniverse, fangirls gravitate around our man, but that does cause the atoms to get jumbled occasionally......

Ok Ladies, I saw the vid my mom was taking about. It was on Friday pm after the replay of Doc Martin. Its not the one on the features. Shows him from shoulders up, blue background. He talks about Zen and it jumps to clips from the show as he describes. At the end he says its fun. He is wearing that brownish-green jacket and a dark shirt. It may be somerthing we already have around here. I will look at the pics thread since I remember a conversation...I think...about the jacket color. His hair seemed longer with curls to me.
My mom called me right when it was on and said that it was on again. I was able to dvr part of it. It is not long. Sorry I cant transfer it here.

Went thru the Zen pics thread. I think he is wearing the brown jacket dark shirt like on page 3. It may be a part from that interview( not sure where that is now) but the background is different, and I swear his hair looks a little different (but could be my imagination).

youtu.be/n6grBUoWvJ0 -some of the dvd extras as a short clip. I wanted people to hear what Everyone in this extra material had to say. Posted it on the FB page as well. I only hope that the video will not be removed or something, I do not have great experience in posting on youtube, and being this all time honest guy, I am not sure what will happen at the end. But for sure I want more people to see parts of this extra material, especially to hear the comments about the accents and shooting in Rome.

Sounds like a bad case of (the original meaning of) Rufusitis! Either that or waiting's just become a habit. I'm glad to finally have an excuse, anyway! Before when I wandered around in a daze people thought it was MY fault! Jumbled atoms? Sounds like a case for Dr Hood! Thanks for posting the video collection, Chocolate!

PGG, you have the same video, but it stops at the beginning and there are only talk without the video moving. That is why I did another version of it.

A short, blink-and-you-miss-it, Zen article in the July 11-17 TV Guide. Mentions a droll, suave Rufus Sewell. Also says its a clever series. Talks about the plot then sums it up by saying Zen is seductive fun. Shows a small pic of Zen walking down the street (with the scooters).

Hi everyone, just a reminder that I have clips from all three Zen episodes now on my YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/PrairieGirl1000?feature=mhee), in honor of and anticipation of the PBS premier next Sunday. Hope there aren't major spoilers, I deliberately kept them short. Some might disagree (especially the one about the desk). I saw portions of that scene, but it wasn't completely pulled together for me until I actually saw the entire episode. But if you think it may be a spoiler for you, avoid the "Desk" clip. Enjoy!
