Congrats to those who have received it already - I guess I have to wait till mid of next week, but then I should have it too.
Good to hear that it is in good condition and certainly worth the price.

Ohh, girls, you are tempting me to look for another copy on ebay ... I've borrowed three of the audiobooks from the library and absolutely loved them, but I think that's all they have there, so it might be worth getting them all ... *sigh* The funny thing about that: when searching for English audiobooks at the library, I always shunned the Bonds because I they didn't particularly interest me. Until I discovered that a certain Rufus Sewell was reading them

Go for it KMK especially now that they offer it for 9.99£ which is nothing.
Just looked through the offers again - I think the one for 19.99£ is still the best - it is new and the postage is reasonable.

Bought 'Goldfinger' a few months ago, an extra-ordinary experience to listen to Rufus reading James Bond, and I still listen to it whenever I need a few hours of pure Rufus' voice...

Thanks, lovethemanrs!! I finally got my wish and ordered from your eBay lead. I've been stymied about where I could buy any of these at a decent price.
I just about had a fit after I went on Audible.com a while back and was all set to to buy the Casino Royale audio book and I got to last step and it very rudely exclaimed I'm in the Wrong Country to purchase!! Go figure! And Amazon only has them as a complete set for a whopping $120. Still can't figure out why they can't sell each book separately. So to get the whole set for only $32US plus shipping is putting me in heaven right now!
So any way, I'm a very happy camper tonight, can't wait till they arrive and I can bask in Rufus' amazing voice in my car, on my computers (work AND home), on my iPhone, oh my, it's going to be overload... umm, on second thought, what am I saying?! We can never have TOO much Ruf, right? ;-)

I got home from work yesterday and James Bond was sitting on my kitchen worktop - well the CD set anyway A bargain at £13.75 + postage and it came registered delivery. It's in really good condition looks almost brand new. I put Casino Royale on to test it out on the surround sound and it's a great quality recording. Rufus sounds very "James Bond". I was recommended the James Bond books years ago by a friend. He had read all of them and told me the books were far better than the films. He said they are humourous without the cheesiness that tends to come across in the films. I can't wait to get listening. I'm still listening to Joseph Andrews at the moment so it might be a while.

When I came home late on Wednesday evening, groggy with my cold and headache, and someone rang the doorbell at half past nine, I was already about to get angry, but then I realized what it was that my neighbour's son was holding out to me The box really looks gorgeous and is awaiting its first round of listening on my way to work

I've listened to Casino Royale and have almost finished Diamonds are forever. Moonraker will be next. I do have to say that I would not bother listening to the James Bond books if it wasn't Rufus reading them. It's really not my cup of tea and I find myself mainly just listening to the sound of his voice and the masterful way Rufus is changing accents. Some of the passages especially in Casino Royale and also Diamonds were quite boring - I don't care about card games or gaming in general and was not interested in how it worked even if it was important for the story. But having said that it is still fun to listen to it while going to work or while doing some housework at home but I'm happy that I got the CD's for this bargain price.

Yes, some of the gambling stuff is a bit tedious, but Rufus and his myriad voices and accents more than makes up for that
