TIPOU, Hey, no problem. Do you have a VHS player anymore? If not, it may be worth it to buy one just to see the unedited version. Please report back to this board with thoughtful insight as you always do. I will read your posting in earnest. I've given up on being "good" for Lent. I'll make up for my Rufus-Longing when I have to stand for 20 minutes as the Passion is read on Palm Sunday in a couple of weeks !!!!!!!! Oh, God have mercy ........................

Poor tipou! What a disappointment! Still, as spice said, at least you can still watch the full version. And I never heard that the BBC DVD had any more extras, besides the extra scenes. So hopefully between your A&E DVD and these tapes, you have everything there is to see!

Now Tipou, Rufus really doesn't approve of whiny little girls However, if you resort to actual tears, you might just get someplace

all right, there, there. just behave yourself from now on. vhs isn't that bad. why, when i was young, we didn't even have videos. we had to recreate favorite scenes by drawing them on paper and turning them into flipbooks.

My DVD's for Charles II have arrived! Now the dilemma . . . to watch them tonight or tomorrow, or leave them for the weekend. I have a lot of things I want to watch on TV tonight, (including an episode of EH) and the same goes for tomorrow night. And if I leave the viewing for the weekend I will enjoy it more because of the thrill of the anticipation. I couldn't not watch the two documentaries though. The Making of and The Boy Who Would Be King. Lovely close-ups of Rufus in the Making of. Oh those eyes!
