Ok next stage - the photo for the heart montage needs to be an image size of 10x15cm or larger and 100dpi. The photo should include no more than head and shoulders (not necessarily head on), but can be just your eye's half a face or any other part of your face, you can be as creative as you like.
You need to send this to stama by pm or email (please contact stama for the email address).
Please have your photo's to stama by the end of July."

Digital photos would be the best  and the smalest pixel size 591 x 394 but the larger size of your photos will be better. If anyone has any questions about photos, send me PM please. ;D |

as you know i have not been here for a while (hello to all those i did have not helloed yet) so i missed a few things - how did the 2010 do? any funny/interesting follow up, glitch, anecdote?

Tipou - you've not been away that long have you?
We managed to get the card to his agents last year before his birthday. Unfortunately we just missed him as he skipped off to LA.
However, he came back in November and when a few of us were lucky enough to meet him after the Zen preview I asked if he got the card. His face lit up into the loveliest smile and said yes he did and it was brilliant. He turned and said to the BAFTA guy (who was trying to drag him from the auditorium) "You see this is why I don't mind doing this for them. They send me birthday cards and stuff." Or words to that effect.
There's a photo of that smile somewhere. I'll see if I can dig it out.

I only saw the thread now, I am usually that slow with social stuff ... I'll punish myself with some more Charles II ;D.
I really like the idea for this year's BD card for Rufus. I have one small suggestion:
why don't we make the picture montage instead of shaped as heart, shaped as a "thinking cloud/balloon" like in the comics when someone talks or thinks, where in the center we write again somehow HAPPY BIRTHDAY or similar? I will put a pics with my scribbles to show what I mean.
Definitely count me in! I will send pms to nell and stama.
I also can help with work- I am quite good with photoshop, coreldraw, and I work at home, so my time is mine this year; and will be very happy to be of help if you need.

 don't pay attention that i put the heart/balloon inside the card, that's only to show the idea better, and is only a suggestion; could be fresher than a heart, which is a more standard and not so fun... otherwise I loved the heart montage also |
