Hi, Karianne from Norway here, I was so inspired by what you wrote, as I also "rediscovered" Rufus after knowing about him since the nineties. He is SO underrated! I recently saw him as King Fortinbras in Shakespeares Hamlet, but it is unfortunately a rather small part, although very well played. Have you seen him reading the Out of the blue-poem about 9/11? (Just google "out of the blue and sewell") Great performance, lots of close-ups of a face which can express every excisting emotion. And what a voice... Hi Karianne, I had never heard of Out of the Blue. Perhaps I was hiding under a rock . Found it on You Tube..... Thank you for pointing this out.......This poem is amazing and it is brilliantly read by Rufus. I felt so many emotions and the the tears just never stopped......I can think of no one else who would done this poem any justice...my heart seemed to skip a beat when the camera zoomed in on his on his beautiful piercing green eyes.....and his voice...love it....sigh..... Bravo Rufus......Now I must find a copy of this poem........

Unfortunately there's only the youtube version available, no DVD whatsoever But if you want to read a bit more about how we all love this wonderful piece of work, just take a look here We're hoping that maybe there will be a DVD edition or at least TV rerun for the 10th anniversary of 9/11 this year ...

So you didn't even notice me first time around? Hmmph ... well, as this was a long time ago I might as well let you have your second chance, considering that you like me even in this coat ...[/quote]
Ha.....ha....Rufus ;D
Thanks Kate for the welcome and recommendations.......although I've seen Tristan and Isolde (why did she choose a boy over that beautiful man).

(why did she choose a boy over that beautiful man). Oh, we've been going on and on and on pondering that question. Either she needs her eyes (or head?) examined or she's just got a bad taste in men

Hi, dolcegattina! We're so glad to have you here! Sounds like you've gotten a good start on viewing, and everyone's given you some great recommendations. Rufus will put a dent in your wallet, but expand your horizons at the same time. His performances are so exceptional that he has pushed me to watch film genres I don't like, read books I never heard of, and learn computer technology that previously seemed too overwhelming to even try. All that , and provided some very nice eye candy at the same time! There is a ton of material around this site, so be sure to look through the "Works of Rufus Sewell" threads and media threads to see screencaps, old photos, interviews, etc.

Hello and welcome, Dolcegattina (great name!) You're definitely in the right place for Rufus chat, pics and any and everything else Rufusy. Please do have a look around, and join in the games if you can - be warned, there is a health warning that comes with the Cap-its and LolRoofs, though. You might have an uncontrollable giggling fit! Watching him run and jump around, I thought he might hurt himself because I was so use to seeing him in less physical parts. Ha-ha! That doesn't happen too often - he'd much rather let a stuntman get the bruises!
