Oh well, I've bought the first book now anyway ;D
A friend of mine who's both a fan of Rufus and the "Game of Thrones" books & series said she couldn't really picture Rufus as Stannis (obviously he's a rather cold character in the books and looks quite different).
Well, let's hope to hear about another cool project popping up very soon!

Since I read this thread I decided to try and watch the series.I tried soooooo hard to finish the first episode.I was really bored.So I'm glad someone else has been cast!
