Are you sure you're not a professional photographer? The composition of your pics are amazing. Ha ha, I wish, but sadly no. I am strictly novice believe me. Much of the course that I have been doing has gone way over my head (I have been lost at about week 4, but it seems, not alone). I have to prepare a panel of 10 images to put in for a marked assessment and that will complete the course. Fortunately the course information is still available online for some time afterwards so I will be able to go back over (again and again) to try to drum in what I didn't understand the first time. Rufus where are you when I really need your help? ? I have been looking through some of the work that the other students have produced and have felt rather inadequate to say the least. Some of their work is just amazing. So thank you to everyone who has made such positive comments. I really appreciate it. It's really helped me to carry on:)

LTM, your pics look extremely professional, whatever you say! I love the colours, they almost jump from the image. Keep it up!

Totally agree with anyother. And as you mention Rufus, LTM ... he could do a little photography workshop for interested Rooftoppers, couldn't he?

I agree with the others, LTM - stunning pics. If you don't regard yourself as a professional, you're a very talented "amateur"!

Well I don't know about 'always that sunny', but I was blessed in the 4 days I was over there. The weather was beautiful all the time and there were a couple of days where there wasn't a cloud in the sky! Spooky stuff going on in the Vatican though!!!!!

LTM, your photos are just amazing!!! I especially love the Sistine Chapel shots. I saw it way back in 1979, long before it got cleaned. It was beautiful then, but now ...

Yippee Just submitted my final assessed work for the photo course. I'm actually ahead of time too - not like me at all ;D So to celebrate I'm posting one last selection of Rome photos: OK, first 3 images show some of the stairways that you have to climb in order to get to the top of St. Peter's at the Vatican. For those who have not visited, even if you take the lift option there are still over 300 steps to climb and they don't provide oxygen when you get to the top!! ;D Scarey Swiss Guard on duty St. Peter's Square As you can see, the view from the top is well worth the climb Don't know what to say really ;D This guy was impressive I just adored wandering around checking out the street art Just liked the look of this place Italian wedding are like film sets!! This fountain was in front of the Spanish Steps Beautiful place, wonderful weather......... Only one thing missing................................ Oh well, 2 out of 3 isn't bad is it? PS. schssssssssssss....don't tell Mr LTM ;D ;D

. Beautiful again! I remember the stairs on top of St. Peter's, especially how they get all the narrower the higher you climb until your shoulders touch both walls. And I remember that the railing of the platform on top was a little wobbly. But the view is definitely worth the effort. The little restaurant looks just like the kind of place that Zen would frequent, doesn't it?
