So on Sunday, I went to the Malvern Show, a huge agricultural/craft/flower/all sorts fair in the West Midlands. Six hours there and I still didn't get round it all! The weather forecast was for sunshine, but it rained most of the day. As you can see, the weather wasn't as good as on my trip to Corfe Castle. And before long the cloud got even lower over the Malvern Hills. But the alpaca was cute. The Highland pony was gorgeous. The pygmy goat was another cutie. The dahlias were lovely, too. And the roses. Don't these look happy flowers? Not surprisingly, this arrangement took first prize in its class. Never expected to see Rufus there! (but I like the way he's displayed!) I used to grow this fuchsia. Wouldn't want to meet this Eurasion Eagle Owl at night. But the tawny owl's not so scary. And the barn owl just didn't want to know!

Oh, GE2, these pics are gorgeous! Rufus made me laugh, and I LOVE the owls! I've never seen a live eagle owl - this one's a beauty! The bashful barn owl is cute. Pity about the weather, but it seems like you still had a nice day!

Thank you for your kind comments, ladies - and thank you, Judy, for that link. Those eyes are amazing, especially where it's looking out of the box! I love owls.

Sounds like you had a good day out, LTM - great pics. That's an exotic-looking restaurant you went to! Did you go as far as Greenwich on the Clipper?

Yeah it was lovely weather that day too. The restaurant was great, kept expecting Ali Baba to walk in!! That was the place with the XXX-rated loos. I understand Zenina's been there too. Oh my, but she is a naughty nun. No GE2, I didn't go down that far on this trip. Just a short ride back to Embankment.
