Hi Peachy! I'm VERY late in welcoming you to the Rooftop! Just for that, I'll give you this lovely little bit of some of Roof's very best armpit acting. WHOA, look at that lovely armpit! (I'm nuts...) Oh and Peachy, hello! Lovely to meet you. You'll have fun here, this is a great gang!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I watched Illuminata last night. Not much of a fan of the movie, but Rufus was outstanding in it. The last scene actually had me breathless. I think he is the only man that could make me swoon, LOL! Can't wait to check out his other performances.

Hi Peachy, A big welcome from me too. I first saw Rufus in Middlemarch but it was in Charles II that I really fell for him. My favourites of his roles are TOTS and Zen but I love everything he does because he is such a consummate actor. It will take you time but if you follow the link that GE2 has given you can enjoy most of his work and the pics on here are awesome. Welcome - I look forward to seeing you around the board. Enjoy yourself. Love Robela These last two pics are from Tristan & Isolde, which is a lovely film if you have not seen it. Welcome and Enjoy!!

Hi Peachy and welcome to the Rooftop! Try this link for a pretty good rundown of Rufus's work www.imdb.com/name/nm0001722/To add to your list I'd recommend Charles 2 next then Martha Meet Frank....... Tristan and Isolde - did you say that already? In a savage land. You could also add Vinyan to the list of diffucult to watch but outstanding (as always) performance that Joyce supplied. When you've got through the film and tv series section my tip is to scroll down Rufus's page in IMDB and discover a whole load of audio recordings. Enjoy!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I took everyone's advice and checked out Charles II. So far I have only gotten to episode 2, but I have to say I am truly a fan of the series. I also watched Victory and I loved Rufus but it seemed like it wasn't a well written movie. Just my opinion of course. I can't seem to find IASL anywhere. Can someone give me some help? I live in the US so that may be why I can't find it.

There are a few copies around on amazon.com, but not exactly cheap. Maybe ebay would be worth a look.
If you can't find a copy at a reasonable price, try to watch IASL on youtube, it's all there in 10-minute instalments. Not as comfortable to watch as a DVD, but better than nothing - this beautiful film is definitely worth seeing!

Hi Peachy! , I just looked up IASL on Amazon and prices have gone up significantly! I bought my copy about four months ago and I managed to get it for under $10 and there were still lots available for purchase, so I guess in a way it's a good and bad thing that the price has gone up and less are available! It's getting some attention! Kate's right, though, it can also be viewed on youtube in 10 minute installments: youtu.be/E8oqfkL_Yis Enjoy! ;D

I can't seem to find IASL anywhere. Can someone give me some help? I live in the US so that may be why I can't find it. I got my copy from Amazon.CA, not .com. Cheap, too, around $10. You might want to give it a shot.

Thanks for the suggestions about IASL. I decided to watch it on youtube to make sure that I wanted to spend that much money for it. ! Amazing movie. I really like Rufus in this movie. I will definitely be purchasing this movie. Now on to finish watching Charles II. Well, maybe the house could use some attention first, then more Rufus. Haha!

Glad to hear you loved IASL - my fingers are crossed for finding an affordable DVD. This one bears re-watching (and re-watching and re-watching ...)

Just finished watching Charles II. Lovely film. Need to add this to my collection. I think in the US it is called The Last King. Am I right about that?
