I hate to say this but I believe this as well. I believe the role he was slated for was the Angel of Death and that went to someone else. I had hoped to see him casted as God or Adam but I believe that would have happened already. So my guess is that this is not going to happen which is why Vanity Fair pulled the story. I would absolutely love to be wrong but they have casted a lot of the major roles already so I guess it was not meant to be. However it turns out I think everything happens for the best. At least he is getting credit for his roles in Zen and TPOTE and that is something for him to be very proud of. I hope he wins both.

For what its worth, it is now listed on his IMDb page, but as rumored. If he was offered a villian type role maybe he decided not to do it, as we all know how he feels about that. If God and Adam still are not cast...I guess theres still hope! Time will tell....but hurry up!

Isn't it unusal for IDMB to add a film to an actor's profile as rumor and it is a little out of date because the actor listed as rumored for the Angel of death has accepted the part.
I am not sure it is accurate but it does at least give some hope that maybe some discussion is still underway,
