I did a project on Paradise Lost in high school so I'm very excited! I hope this turns out to be true!

I think Robela may be Psychic ! ( 'The Man is a God, not a Vampire '. [ Or he may be both. ] )

GE2 you must have telepathy. Those were exactly my thoughts on Paradise Lost, I like God much better than Adam.
And that would be just like him detective - vampire - God

Maybe they offered him Adam and he's holding out for God?! ;D Remember that song "One of us" by Joan Osborne? One line went "If God had a face, what would it look like and would you want to see ..." ;D What a question if it was THIS face!

Just had a thought - if he does get to play God, won't that be voice-only?

Oh, I hope not. That would be PC, I suppose, but since God plays a huge role in this story, I really hope the character appears on screen. To me it would be silly to just use the voice as so many have done in other productions involving God since he's in the story so much. I also think it would be somewhat of a dishonour to the book. Every character is fantastic. When I read it I actually found myself feeling sorry at times for Lucifer (and this coming from a girl who's spent most of her life in the "Bible belt" is surprising even to me! LOL!) The characters (other than Adam and Eve who are of course, human) are shown so many "human" qualities and "relateable-ish" feelings that I think this is why the story has remained a classic for so long. You forget that the story is biblical and involves the most important of biblical figures, and that is seriously good writing (IMHO), so, I really hope they don't do the "lightning bolts and powerful voice from above" thing. IMHO, I think that would lose an audience quite quickly.

Our man is always GOD ... even as a vampire

I think it has just the right distinctiveness and authority to be perfect.....but of course, I would prefer to be able to see him as well!

Agree, his voice is perfect but would love to see him if this comes to be.
He has been doing the gym thing and running. Maybe he is trying to get that fig leaf figure!

Well I am into the I hate the not knowing thing again. I would think that there would be a categorical "No" from the makers of the film if the "rumor" were not true so I guess we are left with the "get on with it" feeling.
Has any one had good tweets on this lately.
I still vote for God. The gym thing could just be to get himself into the "ethereal" state. And I agree they can keep the thunder and lightening stuff. I get plenty of that every time my boss roars his next command.
