Erm ... just what I had hinted at when I wrote from there ... some wine, some G&T's, a piano, a colleague who's a truly great piano player ... cue singing Kate. It was a fun evening! (The next morning was not quite as funny, though ;D )

I have a hard time answering this one, because my favorite has changed so many times I don't know what would be "all-time".

To be honest, the real soundtrack of my life is probably television theme songs and movie scores.

He's my favorite singer and the song's title means "Fairytale".This was a poem that they turned into a song and has lovely lyrics.It says the story of a man that became a tree and tried to express all a man can by being one,but one day a child passed from there and suddenly the tree-man realised that he can't be alone any more.Happiness is in two and he was half,so he spread his branches to touch a woman.And he started living for real!

This is a great idea! I'll have to have a think about mine (after work!).

Fzen1988 - a colleague of nine had We Go Together from Grease played at her husbands funeral - people thought it was an odd choice as it's so upbeat but I thought it was lovely.
She wanted it to be a celebration of his life and the lyrics of that song are actually perfect if you listen to it properly.
