A documentary about intensity, I think. And about scrutiny - , Freud's eyes were sometimes really creepy. Yes, in some of the photos they seemed to be looking at you and through you at the same time. I agree! It's the perfect documentary voice, really, because it's varied and interesting enough to make you listen without being intrusive and overshadowing the material. Even though we love listening to Rufus, the program's not supposed to be about him, and he makes sure it's not.

Its worth seeing not just because of RS's lovely gentle commentary, The information on Lucien's childhood is as interesting as the early RS history.

I just discovered the Lucian Freud documentary, which interests me because we have an exhibition here in Vienna in the next months. The painter´s grandfather, Sigmund Freud, lived in Vienna before he had to emigrate. One of his daughters, Esther Freud, is married to the actor David Morrissey. Thank you GE2 for the link, I listened to a part of it. How can I download it on the computer?
