JudyPatooty here ...
We have a new member whose introductory message didn't post correctly the first time. So I'm reposting it on her behalf ...
From jamolivej:
"Hi Have only just joined.I did not discover Rufus until Zen but I am making up for it now . This is probably old now but was incenced by axing of Zen and made my feelings well and truly felt to BBC on many occasions. am busy making up for lost time with all his previous work . Amazing actor and seems such a lovely person . I could go on and on all day. Will catch up again soon."

hi and welcome to the lovely land of Rufus. You've sized him up wonderfully and seem to be just the kind of fan we love here --- one who is seriously and slightly deranged on the subject. Be assured you are in excellent company and tell us a little more about yourself. We'll drown you in advice about what Rufus-y stuff to check out next. (Think in terms of The Pillars of the Earth and The Taming of the Shrew first off. You can't miss loving either and they'll give you two diametrically opposed but fascinating views of his talents.)

jamolivej -
Welcome to the Rooftop. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself here - we run the gamut of fans who (like you) discovered Rufus in Zen to those who were captivated by "baby Ruf" when he first appeared in in Middlemarch. So have fun going through all of the threads.

Hi, Jamolivej, and welcome to The Rooftop! I was just about to recommend Charles II then read that you've seen it already. Yes, TOTS is an absolute must. Another of my favourites is Higher Love (aka At Sachem Farm or Uncorked). Enjoy exploring, and if you have any queries, just ask. Great to have you with us!

Welcome, Jamolivej! Feel free to complain about the cancellation of Zen as much as you want. We agree with you wholeheartedly. I hope you have a great time checking out the site and catching up on all of Rufus's films.

Welcome to the Rooftop Jamolivej, you will fit in perfectly around here! Totally agree with the other members recomendations - Rufus is brilliant in whatever he's in but my personal favourite is TOTS followed by Zen. Have fun looking around the board, we have some lovely pics for you to drool over!!

Welcome to the Rooftop, Jamolivej! We all love Zen and were shocked to hear about the axing.
You were already recommended some works of Rufus, may I add a few more? But be warned, a few of them are quite difficult to get, partly depending on the region where you live: among my favourites there are "The Woodlanders", then " In A Savage Land" and "Victory". My favourite audio is also "The Woodlanders", read by Rufus.

Oh, Jamolivej, you like my music! Thank you very much! Adina: Umm, Marco, I think she thought of the music of the movie… "Marco: Go, make yourself useful. Give us a rhyme. Maffio Venier: I'm no performing monkey for the idle masses. Marco: Since when? We're all of us performing monkeys, nephew."No, I'm not sulking, my ladies… I just… I just would appreciate a compliment on my singing... ;D Welcome, Jamolivej!

Adina, what a wonderful way for a new member to begin a Friday. Cheers to your talent, as usual.
And Jamolivej, one we always forget to mention because -- i suppose -- it's not technically a movie, but it is the most amazing thing he's done in some respects: If you go to YouTube, you can watch his 9/11 "Out of the Blue" dramatization of a poem written to memorialize the British citizens who died in the Twin Towers. Bring tissues. Lots of them. He's a genius.
