I'm still hoping, hoping, hoping to arrive in London the week of June 4 and be there until June 30. I have no specific plans during that time except to make myself write every single day and to be on the streets loving every moment of it -- especially if Rufus happens to be in town and I happen to be in the neighborhood.
The next best thing would be to meet up with some of you on that side of the pond. Is anyone free for lunch, say Saturday June 9 or Sunday June 10, as a starting point? If not then, do you want to suggest another time?
Just let me know before my dance card fills up. ;D

Love the image of you and your dance card - what kind of dress will you be wearing, Anglo?  I'd love to meet up, but as usual I won't be in London...I will be there for a few days with a friend in about a week and a half though, and I'm so looking forward to that! The idea of spending a whole month there sounds fabulous - make the most of it, Anglo! |

Same to me, anglo - I'd really love to meet you, but as usual I won't be in London, too. I will be in London for only few days in May and September.....
Sounds fab to spend a whole month in England/Scotland.... could be a little bit jealous, but I am really happy for you.

I do hope to meet up with you Anglo, just not in London. Maybe London KY...just kidding...but there is a London KY. Hope you have a wonderful time. Set that Rufus GPS. It would be great if he was in the area the same time you are, I bet you would find him. Keep us posted on your adventure.

Love to meet up. The week beginning the 4th June is half term for the children and following weekend a wedding but last 2 weeks of June I am free. Can do week day if that helps but give a date and hoping I can get to you.  Love Ophelia x |

If I would come over, not that weekend, because I would be in Newcastle for a concert of the "Three Phantoms" with my Simon  ... but no... sorry, I can't... I dunno what will happen with my father, the operation and the rehab.... and the terms starting in that time, too, so the colleagues with kids have priority and in my team we have 3 of them... |

Please,please, count me in depending on the final date.You won't believe this but after reading about the last meet-up in London I have been longing to respond,but could not find the thread again. I was thinking that it would be ages before another meet-up would be arranged in London , if at all and hey here we are. I live just outside the capital and can be in central London in about an hour so no problem there and the w/e you first mentioned sounds fine. I am excited already. It would be lovely to meet up with you and whoever else can make it.Thanks Anglophile.

Ladies, right now I am open to anything from around June 6 until June 29. It would be great to have a major blow-out with everyone on that side of the pond at once, but I'm willing to do multiple meet-ups. The week-end of the 16th or 23rd would be fine with me if that works for everybody else as a starting point. Jamolivej, how does that look for you?

Sunday 17 June is Fathers Day here so obviously a family gathering but otherwise other days looking OK.

Hi Anglophile, I can't do the 9th as we are away in Bath the week of half term and only get back on the 8th, so will be busy washing and getting things ready for kids to go back to school, might possibly be able to do the 16th but definitely not the 23rd.

think i'll give it a couple more days and see if anyone else has the possibility of joining us and then try to set the date the most people say they can come. maybe a second date for anyone who can't make the first one.
