I'm in London! I'm in London! I'm in London! Can't wait to see everyone. No one else has followed up (except Nell, and we're working that out) on any date they can definitely meet up, except for Saturday the 23rd and I think Voiceover has that worked out for us. (Thank you so much, Voiceover. My uncle's illness, death and funeral added a layer of confusion I just didn't have time to deal with. I haven't even gotten to visit the site in a week or so, so I have a lot of catching up to do. Were it not for you girls keeping me on track, there's no telling where I'd be right now -- probably in Moscow instead of London.) Can't wait to see you all. If you have questions about the 23rd, Voice over is still your best source -- I simply plan to show up with bells on. If you can't make that one but can do another time between now and June 29, please send me a PM and let me know. I'm trying to cram in everything I can and Rufus connections are at the top of my list. Be blessed, Glenda ;D ;D

Dear Anglophile, welcome to England and just sorry we could not be at airport to greet you. Hoping you are asleep in a comfortable bed - that the flat has all you need and just sorry that this week it is a very British wet week if the forecast is to be believed. Keep writing and let the world go hang - put yourself first for a change - you have had the most amazingly busy year - time now for you. Voiceover

How wonderful to have this marvelous time blessed by all your good wishes. If only I could magically transport you all here --
we've been soaked in the rain and un-prettied by the wind today -- but we've had a glorious time, as well. St Paul's occupied us all morning and then it was on to the Tate Modern (which is a little too modern for this grandmother, but I tried to be a good sport.) Then Harrod's, where we bought strawberries and tea and custard-filled pastries for breakfast tomorrow (and pretended the walk to the tube would even out the calorie situation.)
The flat is adorably small -- so small it wouldn't be possible to cuss a cat in it -- but since I have neither a cat nor a fluent cussin' repertoire, it's all working out beautifully. I keep a sharp eye out for Rufus -- just in case he pops up here. I've discovered many admirable and appealing men -- but nobody matches our boy!!
Can't wait to talk about him long and thoroughly with his fan base representatives. I'm sure my daughter will be a raving convert by the time this is all over. Hugs and blessings -- Anglophile (should I have that put on a T-shirt to wear while I'm here, do you think?)
