Here's another article about the convention's showing of ALVH. The reviewer liked, but did not rave about, the teasers. www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=38791However, he seems to be a Rufus fan. I won't copy the whole article, but here are my favorite bits, because they are the lines that mention Rufus, of course: Kapow Comic Convention 2012 was fortunate to have one of its stars, the steely and inscrutable Rufus Sewell, on hand to present the unveiling of the new Red Band Trailer and a few other scenes to whet our appetiteand Before Sewell left the screening to attend a separate Q&A session, CBR News managed to ask him a question regarding the fraternity of on screen vampire villainy he had now now joined, and how he felt in such company. Flashing a devilish grin, he said, "I've always been a big fan of Christopher Lee and what he brought to vampires on screen. And I knew that deep down, I had a good bad vampire in me." With a laugh he was gone.Love that devilish grin. ;D Edited to add: Thanks for the article you posted, PGG! I loved reading such a detailed account!

Haha...he's great. Christopher Lee is one of my favourites. What an elegant and charming vampire. Rufus will do a great job!

Thanks for that, Rueful - love the "devilish" grin comment, but "inscrutable"? He's always a very honest and open interviewee!

I love his coolness and the costume! "Coolness" is a very good word for it, Sam! It's like you'd expect from how he has described his character--3000 years old, he's seen it all, probably been threatened many, many times before, and he's not going to get too excited about this young upstart. And his costumes are great! But I don't know if I want to see all that blood in 3D now - ewwwwwww! Maybe I will wait for the DVD after all...... This is a problem for me too! I really don't like gore. On the other hand, I was able to withstand the trailer, because it was sort of cartoonish "action violence," not too realistic, so we'll see. Oh, Rufus....the things I do for you.
