Rufus Sewell To Topline ABC’s Richard LaGravenese Drama PilotRufus Sewell is set as the male lead in ABC’s Richard LaGravenese drama pilot. Drama Pilot Rufus to topline in pilot As I understand it ... a pilot is a one off leading to either a series of single plays or a series of episodes involving same characters. Do we know any more about this? Wouldn't it be wonderful if it was a series! On a down note, Didn't Roof say he wouldn't want to do a series again? .
But can Rufus ever be cast as the loving spouse who takes his kids to little league practice? Not much of a story there I guess..haha.
Rachel , Haven't you forgotten Petruchio who becomes the house -husband and raises their triplets while his Kate runs the country

On a down note, Didn't Roof say he wouldn't want to do a series again? He's also said he reserves the right to change his mind!

You're welcome, Frannie! Now after Oded Fehr (see last page), Melissa George has been added as "the second female lead": George will play Margot Worth Cole, a beautiful woman whose power, style and intellect command attention the instant she enters a room. Margot has been a member of high society for years -- and her social status is threatened by her imminent divorce from billionaire Anderson Cole (Oded Fehr). She has a romantic history with Philip (Rufus Sewell) and considers him her only equal in a world of inferiors. Margot is outraged when she learns that she's been duped by Anderson in their divorce settlement. Unwilling to play the fool in public, Margot wants her revenge on Anderson, pointing her ex-lover Philip at Anderson's innocent fiancee Cecelia. www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/melissa-george-star-abcs-katie-688816

Oooh, I like Oded Fehr too! Thanks for the additional casting info, GE2! Can't wait to see who they cast as Margot. Me too! The casting of a powerful actress who can hold her own with Rufus will be key. In honor of Rufus's new role, here's a link to an Annie Lenox video with a great Dangerous Liaisons vibe! linkEdited to say: Somehow I missed the page turn, so I just saw this second bit of news. Now after Oded Fehr (see last page), Melissa George has been added as "the second female lead": My response to this news, unfortunately, is "eh". I will live in hope, like Rachel said about Katie Holmes, that there are hidden depths to Ms George.

Don't know much about Melissa George - hopefully she's better than the vehicles she's been in. Any "Good Wife" fans out there? I see from IMDB she's guest starred in several episodes, how did she do there? I am excited about Oded Fehr, I've liked him in everything I've seen him in. He'll make a nice foil for Rufus.

I like Oded Fehr also. He did a movie here and really said nice things about his stay here in KY. Gotta like him.

Not impressed at all - but the part is awful. I was more pleased with her in In Treatment... but with Gabriel Byrne everybody turns to be good.

Thanks GE2! I agree with what you said about Rufus being cast first. Makes me wonder if they had him in mind all along. Did he even have to audition. I am excited!
A title would be nice.

Maybe they'll be smart for a change and call it "The Rufus Sewell Show".
