I think technically they shared the final scene as everyone danced and centuries blurred but they were unaware of each other so I'm not counting it as scene share

Hmmmmmm, well I have a few that are on the above lists and a few that are not, and probably a couple of views that will be laughed at.........but, what the hell!
His co-stars so far, female: Shirley Henderson by far is the best, but I would add: Maya Stange, Helen McCrory, and I even enjoyed his acting with Sophia Myles (I hear the laughter), while the situation was strange and there wasn't a passion about it, I did love the way they played off each other. I also liked Minnie Driver in ASF.........they weren't meant to be together, but I did enjoy the way they played off each other, knowing that they weren't really right for each other, but not sure yet who was.
His male co-stars so far: Nigel Hawthorne, Rupert Graves, Albert Finney, Edward Norton, and Keifer Sutherland.......and (ah oh, here comes the next laughter!) I really believe that Rufus should do another film with Heath Ledger. I think that the talent is in Heath, he's just not been asked to pull it out and use it! I can see Heath and Rufus pulling something off and it be fabulous!
Least favorite female so far: (there are so many) Patsy Kinsit, Zeta-Jones, Jessica Biel, Cameron Diaz (although they didn't do anything together), the lady in Dirty Weekend, she was horrible!
Least fave male stars thus far: Willem Defoe, Joseph Fiennes, Martin Donovan, Antonio Banderas, and yes, the bottom of the heap is James Franco!
Now, who would I like to see him do a film/play/advertisement/whatever with are: Russell Crowe, Clive Owen, Jason Isaacs, Paul Bettany, Daniel Day-Lewis, Patrick Stewart
As for the ladies, I would like to see Rufus pair up with Cate Blanchett, Renee Zellweger, Emily Watson (that could be an AMAZING film!), Rachel Weisz (I know she's done one with Rufus and it was really sweet and quirky.....I want to see them again!) and of course I'd love to see him do something very story-driven with Helen Mirren.
My thoughts on these change quickly, depending on what I'm watching at the moment!!!!

Yes I well know, but it was a short play. I'd like see her with Roof either in a comedy or in drama, like "I heart Huckabees" and "Mulholland drive".

His co-stars so far, female: Shirley Henderson by far is the best, but I would add: Maya Stange, Helen McCrory, and I even enjoyed his acting with Sophia Myles (I hear the laughter), Never! Sophia Myles was wonderful with Rufus. It wasn't simply his work that made that character special. Her approach to the role wasn't terribly complex but she provided a character that it didn't seem ridiculous for Marke to be infatuated with. Unlike James Franco who made Marke seem a bit of a fool for placing so much faith in Tristan. I won't laugh at this either. I'd never paid much attention to Heath Ledger until Brokeback Mountain which I found to be one of the most dull tedious stereotypical films I've seen in many years. They hardly missed insulting any of the people they portrayed. That was when I realized Heath Ledger had no idea what it meant to be an actor. But I still won't laugh. Since I haven't had much interest in his career I may have missed a flash of brilliance somewhere. There was a time when Antonio Banderas was an actor. Antonio Banderas can act. In fact, much like Anthony Hopkins he's quite good. I saw him a few years ago in Nine and he was fabulous. In fact he was nominated for a Tony which was very much deserved. Everyone who thinks he as no talent should familiarize themselves with his work. I do think he has sold out. Rachel Weisz is extremely talented. I'd love to see her do something with Rufus. I sat through The Fountain thinking how much better it would have been if Rufus was doing Tommy. Nothing would have redeemed it because it's a mess and a pretentious piece of schlock in some places but it would have been wonderful to see Rufus do the scenes with Rachel Weisz. People would have been weeping in the aisles at their plight.

re: Antonio Banderas. I don't really like the route his career has taken and I'm not all that fussed about him in general but having said that, I heard him being interviewd by Jonathan Ross on the radio recently and it was seriously the most inspiring actor interview I've heard in forever. He was intelligent, funny, down to earth, he knew his stuff, he talked in length about his Almodovar days and he didn't buy into the Hollywood thing at all (unless it was all an elaborate act . I love how he explained how Hollywood is fake to his daughter "she knows it's not real. It's like a Christmas tree ornament, a star in the top of the tree. It's gold and sparkly from the front and when you turn it around, it's paper." Good man.

I think in Hollyweird he's just as type-cast as Rufus and maybe not as intent on bucking the trend. I'd like to see him act again. Maybe when he gets "fat and greasy" as he says about himself, he'll get the chance to do so. I have never ever seen a film actor work as hard as he did in Nine to give the audience their money's worth. All of the raving about Hugh Jackman in Boy From Oz, I saw both shows and Antonio Banderas beat Hugh Jackman hands down for sheer enthusiasm and craftsmanship and he served the show, not his own personal need for attention. He's not a stupid man and when he was younger he showed great promise. I'd be interested to see him do something real with Rufus--something where they both got to step out of the box and take on a role that Hollyweird hasn't sanctioned before. And one of my very favorite things he said: When they were hounding him about Melanie Griffith and making fun of him for being with her, a crass entertainment reporter asked him why he was with her. He looked the woman very calmly in the eye with complete self assurance and said, "Because I love her." It was simple. It was beautiful and it made the reporter look like the idiot she was for asking such a stupid question.

Oh! Don't get me wrong........it's not that I don't like Antonio Banderas at all! I was just "voting" in terms of least favorite male star with Rufus, mostly because LoZ sucked and AB didn't even try to act in it! I've seen many of his films and, like with Rufus at times, even when the film wasn't very good, I thought Antonio was wonderful! From Mambo Kings, to Desperado, to Evita to the first Spy Kids film (not great, but I thought he just let go with it and I liked it). Original Sin is a so-so film to most people, but I thought he was amazing in it! And I enjoyed Pancho Villa........even though I thought it was poorly written. I consider myself a fan of his.........but I think he's made some really poor choices in recent years (although my daughter thinks "Take the Lead" is the best film EVER). So, putting him in my least fave male star......wasn't a reflection on his career, just that particular film!
As for Heath Ledger, I can't pinpoint a particular film that has made me think he's got something there.........I've seen several of them..........I just see it in his work. I just really don't think he's been given (or has made the choice) of something truly wonderful. I don't think he's reached his potential yet.......and I could be very wrong.
As for Rachel Weisz.........I just find her amazing! There is something in her that just screams talent! And I would love to see her and Rufus do some odd comedy as the leads. I could just as well see them in a drama.......but I think I'd like to see something funny.
Thank you Maxx for not laughing at my Sophia Myles vote!!! I feel the same way, I thought she pulled off that role very well, considering what she was given. And I thought she had good chemestry with Rufus, even being so much younger. She's another I'd like to see do a comedy........but a dark comedy, something almost sinister, but funny!!!!!

I even enjoyed his acting with Sophia Myles (I hear the laughter), while the situation was strange and there wasn't a passion about it, I did love the way they played off each other. I agree with you, Michelle. I felt there was a chemistry between Lord Marke and Isolde and kept expecting her to fall in love with him, but of course it wasn't in the story! I thought the two of them were a very good pairing on screen.

Yeah, well, the story needed a little work (don't get me wrong, I LOVED T&I!)..........I'm with you, I was hoping that, in the end, she would find that she had fallen in love with her husband after all. And, in a way, I think she did..........I mean she wasn't IN LOVE with him, as she was with Tristan......but I think she had feelings for him that she didn't expect to have.
