....since it's Rufus's birthday tomorrow i decided to start a new threat called "presents for Rufus"...so, if you had lots of money and could give him ANYTHING in the world, what would it be ?? i'm curious to know your (as always:) surprising ideas!..let me be the first one..hmm.. i think a guided tour of a Leica factory, his fav camera equipment producer, would be a perfect gift for Roofy now it's your turn ....

The choice of whatever film role he wants!

Well, time is of the essence and he has to back on stage on Tuesday night, I would take Concorde out of retirement and provide him a round trip flight home to London to spend his birthday with Billy. All expenses included!

, what an interesting question. What to give the person who has everything... Hum, maybe I'd give him the ability to see himself the way the audience sees him for just 24 hours.

The choice of whatever film role he wants! Good one! And also the chance to choose his co-stars.

Yup, I would produce any movie he wishes to make. And I think I'd enjoy it too

yeah-organizing him a short trip to London to see Billy would definitely make him the happiest person in the world but speaking for myself -i would also offer him flying to Poland on the same Concorde (tinkerdog-we may share the cost-haha) but that would have to be my birthday not his

I'm glad money is no object, as I have none at the moment. Instead I'll just send him my wishes for a perfect 40th birthday, spent exactly the way he wants. Happy Birthday, dear Rufus. We love you!

Since money is no object, I'd give him carte blanche to buy the designer wardrobe of his dreams, and I'd request some items in both vibrant and muted earth-tones to please his ardent fans.

I would make a big donation to his favorite chariy, he'd be touched. Buy him a cool vintage car. Have him direct a movie.

I hope Ru had a wonderful day - the only thing I could wish for him is many more in the company of Billy and all his other loved ones.
And a Tony award next June. That would be cool as well.
;D
