First I would like to compliment you all with this board. I've been reading and enjoying this site as 'guest', but now I would like to be able to vote for the monthly clips or ask 'the person below me' 'this one or that one' myself. I don't have pictures you do not already have and I have only seen the most recent films & Carrington. But I have been to R'n'R: it was great! So if you are able to see it in NY, don't hesitate.
Greeting to you all, Holland Park

welcome! Delighted that you decided to formally join us hollandpark. I'm in complete agreement about Rock 'n' Roll. Is it too soon to ask you for a fan commentary on RnR for the website?

Thank you for your nice welcoming words! I think I made one person happy already: 3 votes for TO, even before I wrote my 'greetings'. But will it be enough?

welcome! Delighted that you decided to formally join us hollandpark. I'm in complete agreement about Rock 'n' Roll. Is it too soon to ask you for a fan commentary on RnR for the website? Well... at the moment I'm quite busy translating the play into Dutch : ) But I love to share my joy in the play with you all. I enjoyed it very much because it gives you a lot of layers to discover and things to think about: human relationships, principles, the concept of freedom. And it has humor in it as well! But that's all Tom Stoppard's doing I guess. What made the play special as well were the actors. Right from the beginning I was touched by real human beings on stage, not 'actors' acting. So if this cast is going to Broadway, enjoy their chemistry.

Ooooh, are they/you planning a Dutch production? That would just be so weird But good weird! Fedja van Huet could play Jan. He sort of looks like Rufie

It would be weird, wouldn't it! And yes, good weird, I think so too! I hope I don't dissapoint you, but I'm not in the theatre business. And I don't think someone is planning a Dutch production. But I have this idea and maybe, maybe, maybe... You know Fedja van Huet? Where did you spot him? Yes, he looks a bit like Rufus and he can act too. But I'm sorry, I had Rufus in mind : ) Dutch isn't hard to learn for a man who speaks so many accents as he does, is it?
