Rain here then a high of 70 ish tomorrow. Trying to be fall here. Imagine we will still have some hot days this month. Will continue to fight with hubby to keep the A/C going. A battle we have two times a year!

I have lost that battle but I’m on the side of no AC. Husband likes it much cooler than me. I am looking forward to the night he decides we don’t need the ceiling fan in the bedroom.

I like it cooler when I sleep and inside. Love warm weather but have to have it cool inside. Thought it was Friday when I woke up. Disappointed!

How funny, I thought it was Friday for a good part of the day, had to keep reminding myself it was only Thursday.
Why I hate online shopping redux. Since I was browsing Ann Taylor online for a dress for the wedding, I keep seeing their ads on every website I visit. Well last Friday an ad popped up for a dress that looked good and in a color I love. So I ordered it. And all week I was so happy thinking about this nice new dress, even decided to wear it the day after it came. Well it came today and it looks terrible on. It had a scoop neck, which is usually a good look for me, but the scoop is so wide I feel like the dress is sliding off my shoulders, Plus those shoulders are kind of puffy. Daughter said it looked like I was wearing shoulder pads. It’s not having to return things that bothers me, it’s having my expectations crushed. In the store I would have immediately seen that it didn’t work. But instead I had a week of happiness thinking I had a nice new dress and now I don’t.

Ugg. I hate when that happens! Disappointing from an Ann Taylor site.
Have a great weekend!

I am still being seduced by online shopping. Now a dress I liked that wasn't available in my size is now available in my size. Do I dare? Should I go ahead and order it? Will I be disappointed one again?

I say go for it!
Proves summer has come to an end. Neighbors are closing down their pool. I enjoy hearing their kids having fun in the pool.
Have a great week!

Well I went for it. Got an email this morning that Ann Taylor was having a 2 day sale, everything half off and free shipping! We’ll see what happens when it arrives. Keep your fingers crossed.

I can’t believe it’s almost October. It’s even starting to get dark earlier. Full dark by 7:00 p.m. now.

I know! So crazy how fast time can pass at times. Son has a big BD in November so he and I are taking a special mother son trip to Disney. He wants to do all the Star Wars stuff. Will be here before you now it!

Slightly ticked with husband tonight. I stopped at the store on the way home from work and discovered that I didn’t have my debit card. When I got home I totally emptied my purse to see if I had just thrown it in there instead of putting it back in my wallet. Asked husband if he had seen it and he rather indignantly said he hadn’t. Thinking back to when I last used it, I remembered that I had put it in the pocket of the hoodie I wore shopping. The hoodie that when I got home from the store I gave him to put in the laundry. Did he perhaps see it when he did the laundry? Even more indignant, absolutely not. So just to be sure I checked the washer and sure enough, there on the bottom of the washer was my debit card. Honestly! How can you take clothes out of the washer and NOT notice a fairly large piece of red plastic sitting there? He never said a word when I found it, I think he was embarrassed. The card looks fine and no worse for wear, so everything should be ok.

Typical. My hubby would probably react the same. At least your card is clean...lol. That is a bad feeling to loose/misplace your card.

Got my flu shot today. And yes, they gave me the "old people's" flu shot. Talk about adding insult to injury!

LOL. I got my flu shot yesterday too. Not to rub it in but I was not given the senior version. No to far off though. I have my covid booster tomorrow.
