DGD, keep in touch and keep us all posted.
I had a mixed breed dog for 18 years, she was a miniature / toy poodle. Loved her to pieces. I would love another, there are two shelters near me but it would be so hard, I'm at work all day and I'd have to leave it alone till I came home. I miss having a dog around the house.

Ambra, what a sucky job! I feel for ya. It's actually not that bad. Trust me, I've had worse. Most customers are pretty cool and even interesting to talk to. I had one guy who raised alligators and had one with him in the living room at the time I was talking to him! I just hate getting the customers who decide they're going to vent, especially if it's about things I have absolutely no control over. I just can't wait to get home tonight! I got an unusual surprise in the mail today. I had ordered "Extreme Ops" and "Dangerous Beauty" through amazon. I got the first movie a couple of days ago so when I found a package in the mail today, of course I thought it was "Dangerous Beauty" arriving a couple of days early. I open it up and it's "In a Savage Land"! I had looked at getting a copy of it but one copy was almost 80 bucks and another was about 6. Because of the huge difference in the prices, I thought there must be something wrong with the latter one so I passed. The copy I got is from Niagra, NY and is a Canadian home video copy so I'm not sure if it'll work in my region 1 dvd player. There was no invoice in the envelope. I double-checked my amazon order and credit card charges to make sure I wasn't charged for it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's watchable and I'm going to contact the address on the envelope so I can make arrangements to pay for it.

Good luck, DGD! Keep in touch with us all here. Yeah... pick-up artists. Erik has seduction down to a science.... so I guess he's just spreading how-tos to guys. Personally, I would rather that he had stuck with just being a Master Illusionist, but with Criss Angel being so over-the-top, perhaps Erik just figured out a different way to use his talents and earn money. Haven't asked him about it tbh.I can only speculate and speculation is useless. It's been a few years since I last talked to him. I just woke up not long ago... Not sure how long l can be here right now. Drinking coffee but it's not waking me up much. Grrr Arg... This sucks big time. (whine fest).

I think the training is like 2 weeks. Then its 210 days on the ground in Kuwait. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camp_Arifjanlooks like their are wi-fi hot spots on base, so I guess my iPod touch will come in handy...

June 22.
And thank you ladies for the well wishes. I actually have always said I would never do an IA billet. I still am against taking a sailor, sticking a gun in their hands and sending them to the desert to get shot at...I think sailors should stay on boats or at the very least in support of boats/aircraft. Ground combat should be left up to the Marines and Army...that's what they do.
But in this day and age, there just isn't enough people joining the Army and Marines because they know it's not a matter of "if" they go to the sand...it's when. It's pretty much a guarantee that you are gonna get shot at if you join one of the two. Sadly the mentality of most young people nowadays is not what it once was. Kids put their own agendas and dreams of money and the good life above the idea of helping their fellow man.
Sorry...on my soap box...I'll step down now...
So you can see how I'm kind of stuck. I don't believe in it (sending sailors to the sand) but I don't see too many other options jumping at me right now.

Yar. Hopefully it ends well so I don't go to Kuwait all angry and end up shooting at anything that moves while screaming "screw you CBS" at the top of my lungs.

my mom says she doesn't know who she fears for most if I ever got sent to Iraq...me or the unlucky bastards that I would be shooting at. I seriously would be pissed as hell if I got sent to Iraq or Afganistan...
