Question for the Poms - is it snowing where you are? I just checked the travel jam cams for the area of London that DS lives in and lo and behold, there is snow! It wont lie for long though, it never does hang around in London but I thought that was exciting!
I could do with about 3ft of it right now to counter the 30+C heat!

Strictly I fall into the 'Pom' category, although not sure this is what you wanted in reply. We have a lot of snow at the moment. It was snowing so hard overnight that our satellite dish got covered and I lost the internet... Eeeeeeep! This is our back garden And these are the mountains around Kabul Minx x

Minx, you got better snow than London did, that's for sure! I dont know what made me think that Kabul would have been a warmer place! Love those mountains, very spectacular!

Kabul is really warm during the summer, but the winter is extremely cold with a lot of snow.

What beautiful snow, Minx! Nothing is prettier than fresh-fallen snow, before it's all trampled.

I know you didn't ask but we got snow in LA last week. It was a very strange event as I live on the beach. I didn't think to take pictures.

When we were in London, in February of '05, it snowed. I was told that it was the first time in 10 years that London had gotten snow & I thought it snowed there every year! All I can say to your photos Minx is BURRRRRRRRR! Just remember LAYERS! ;D

No, thankfully no snow in the city. I do hope to go skiing this weekend but they have snow machines!

No, thankfully no snow in the city. I do hope to go skiing this weekend but they have snow machines! Youve probably jinxed yourself and will now get one of those blizzards where the little yellow men come out to keep the storm drains clear and they have to shovel the snow into the east river there is so much of it... and no skiing for you unless it's x-country in Central Park. ;D

No snow here - just sleety-rain if anything (*pouts*), but it's been lovely and crisp and cold here today. Maybe it'll snow overnight and I won't be able to get to work tomorrow...? (Minx, lovely pics - those mountains look as cold as the Canadian Rockies when I was there!) GE2

Gorgeous photos, Minx! I'm another one that, for some reason, assumed that it was hot there!
We've had snow and ice (mostly lots and lots of ice) the last 3 weekends, practically bringing this town to a standstill........we're not used to bad weather! Weekend before last, we had over 200 wrecks between Friday night and Sunday night just in town, that didn't count the surrounding areas. So, not only are we not used to this weather, some of us are really stupid behind the wheel of a car!

Chicago has the 17 degree temperatures which can get pretty cold with the wind chill but the ground is dry. Even if it did snow, we would have to work because we have a major convention at the end of February - the show must go on!

We got a big dump of snow and had wickedly cold temperatures -35C. a couple weeks ago, but it's been very warm lately, for here (Canadian Rockies). Another few days of plus 10 C. weather and it will all be gone!

According to the "Current Weather Report" on TV, it's supposed to be snowing in my city - but I just looked out the window and it's not.
Who's stolen my snow??!

No snow here (lots of rain recently though). I can't believe it snowed in LA and not up here in San Francisco, it's usually alot colder up here.
