Should I be embarrassed that I do not know who either of those women are? Heck, I just found out who Hannah Montana was.... My friend Kristen is in love with Jennifer Garner and would like to see her in the role. I think it should be me, quite frankly. Rai No. The one suggested by aintitcool has done various television. She's small and has dark hair and she's very feisty--read she probably grew up with brothers. Peta Wilson is Australian. She hasn't done too much in the last few years since she had her baby. Occasionally, she'll do a small part in a film and fox had a series that didn't last where she was a bounty hunter. She's tall, probably near 6', blonde and blue eyed. She has a husky voice and she moves very slowly and dangerously. Some may remember in the pre-24 La Femme Nikita. Jennifer Garner completely escapes me. Even for Rufus I couldn't watch a show with her in it. Of course you'd be an excellent choice but I assumed you were busy with other projects.

I'm happy for Rufus!!!!
But, I have to admit...it will be STRANGE seeing him on tv all the time. I feel like the only person who even knows who he is (around here, anyway!). I'm sure it will change his life dramatically,too...he'll be recognized a LOT more! He might end up in tabloid magazines and shows like Entertainment Tonight all the time.

I hate those shows. I'd have to rely on the kindness of strangers to record all pertinent Rufus moments. I agree with you about Jennifer Garner, Maxx. Never could see the attraction. And I would gladly clear my calendar for 13 weeks or so if summoned for the role. ;D Rai

According to this Variety article from 2 weeks ago, EH may be on the fast track to broadcast. www.variety.com/article/VR1117980512.html?categoryid=14&cs=1Rai CBS is believed to have its eye on moving swiftly on a pair of drama pilots and a pair of comedies that were targeted for early development last year. "Eleventh Hour" is a drama from the Jerry Bruckheimer shop that's billed as "The X-Files" meets "An Inconvenient Truth," or what happens when the government recruits a college professor to investigate mysterious events involving science, from cloning to global warming. Warner Bros. TV project, penned by Mick Jackson, is based on a British thriller.

Think you might have some competition from the rest of us there, Rai! I've just read that Granada International Media is involved in this - that's a UK-based distributor!

Hi Everyone,
Is there any mention of timing on the filming of the pilot or the location? This would probably be Hollywood type deal right? I can't imagine Rufus wanting to remain in Hollywood for along time if the series is picked up!
I may actually have to watch some TV again!

I wonder if the series will be shown in England, I hope so. I also think its a shame that Rufus has to play an American, It always seems a shame that he will have to speak in an American accent because I thought you ladies liked the english accent. I sometimes find that english ac tors don't seem to be that good at the accent, Alan Rickman certainly springs to mind. Although I do think that Rufus doesn't do too bad a job but Im probably not the best person to judge.

I think the accent is a real shame too, although Hugh Laurie did a marvellous job of it, not a hint of Bertie Wooster anywhere to be found. Sadly, it seems to be what's required to get any sort of recognition.

Rufus was certain that he would be using an American accent. Seems to be the latest trend in US television with British actors.

I don't watch the show mainly because of the accent. And the weird thing is that I f*cking adore Hugh Laurie. But not with that accent...
