Good news here! Rai In an indication that CBS' pilot "Eleventh Hour" is headed to series, "Sleeper Cell" creators Cyrus Voris and Ethan Reiff have been tapped as executive producers/showrunners of the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced drama. "Hour," from Bruckheimer TV, Warner Bros. TV and Granada TV, is based on the British limited sci-fi series and stars Rufus Sewell as a special science adviser to the government who, with his feisty female bodyguard Rachel (Marley Shelton) in tow, saves people from the worst abuses of science. "CSI" visual mastermind Danny Cannon is directing the pilot from a script by feature scribe Mick Davis. "Hour" has been rumored to go to series since September, when CBS picked up the pilot with a penalty said to amount to a 13-episode production commitment. On the potential series, Voris and Reiff will serve as exec producers alongside Davis, Cannon, Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and a Granada executive. "Hour" falls under Voris and Reiff's overall deal with WBTV. It also extends their relationship with Bruckheimer and CBS. Earlier this development season, the duo penned a treasure-hunting drama for WBTV and Bruckheimer TV, which landed at CBS with a put pilot commitment (HR 8/16). On the feature side, Voris and Reiff recently penned the spec "Nottingham," which sold last year in a seven-figure deal to Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment and has Ridley Scott attached to direct and Russell Crowe attached to star. The two also wrote DreamWorks Animation's upcoming "Kung Fu Panda." Voris and Reiff, who also created and executive produced the series "Brimstone," are repped by WMA, Field Entertainment and attorney Dave Feldman. www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/television/news/e3i1fd18f0059ccb92759e1fb9c34ce30fa

Wiki has the synopsis of each of the UK episodes - maybe they will be adapted for the US version? Resurrection (January 19, 2006) After the discovery of a large number of malformed foetuses in a field, Ian Hood and Rachel Young investigate a black market human cloning experiment being funded by a father desperate to recreate his dead son. As they investigate the forces behind the experiments they must also try to save the life of a single mother who has been duped into acting as a surrogate for one of the experiments.
Containment (January 26, 2006) Hood and Young attempt to locate the source of an outbreak of a hybrid Smallpox/Tanapox virus, but things become more complicated when Young is apparently infected and the 'trail' leads in the wrong direction.
Kryptos (February 2, 2006) When a friend of Hood's vanishes while doing research on global warming, he takes it upon himself to decode his encrypted research.
Miracle (February 9, 2006) Following the miraculous cure of a young boy suffering from cancer, Hood and Young travel to his home to investigate claims that he has been cured by local spring water. The area becomes a focal point for cancer sufferers desperately seeking a cure. When these victims start to experience even worse symptoms Hood becomes convinced that there must be something in the water. All of the tests prove to be , however, and it appears increasingly likely that the boy's doctor has made the entire story up. But shortly after Hood reaches this conclusion, the doctor responsible for the case dies in an apparent suicide. A chance phrase in the suicide note referring to a Geiger Counter, a term the doctor would never use due to Geiger's known Nazi sympathies, leads Hood to begin an investigation into her death, and he uncovers a Government conspiracy to produce heavy water (which he is able to demonstrate is found in the spring). By blackmailing a leading government figure, Hood is able to clear the doctor's name, but is not able to expose the secret service's involvement in the whole affair.

Nothing we don't already know, but nice to read about Eleventh Hour anywhere! Rai CBS CBS President of Entertainment Nina Tassler used the labor stoppage to experiment with production models. As a result, she opted to make only four full drama pilots and rely on shorter presentations to showcase the other five dramatic series CBS has in the works. The network will make pilots of its high-profile projects -- Jerry Bruckheimer's "Eleventh Hour," starring Rufus Sewell; and Bruno Heller's "The Mentalist," starring Simon Baker. It also will produce full episodes of "Ny-Lon," a British import about a love affair spanning 3,000 miles, between London and New York; and "Mythological Ex," based on a successful Israeli show about a woman (Rachel Boston) who tracks down all of her ex boyfriends after a psychic tells her she has already met her future husband. full article here: www.calendarlive.com:80/tv/cl-et-pilots5apr05,0,480233.story

Yowzah! That pic is gorgeous! Pity about the distraction on the left.... There's just something about his mouth there (sort of slightly pouty) that just makes me want to reach up and kiss him.....even more than usual! Thank you so much for finding this, Rai! (Huh? The article is dated 20 April 2008 - have I missed the weekend?!)

Whoa, GREAT photo of him. *stares*
(I recently saw Marley Shelton in the movie 'Planet Terror' - which is a silly "spoof" of the cheesy b-horror movies of the 70s/80s, and I thought she was pretty good/funny in it.)

I have to pass this along because it made me laugh. I sent this photo via email to my mother and her response was: "lordy,lordy--- who cares what the series is about!!!!!!!!!!" seems as if at least one person will be glued to CBS each week.

In case anyone was wondering when CBS would be announcing its fall lineup, here ya go. The fact that EH filmed an entire pilot episode bodes well for it being picked up as a series. Rai This year's upfront season is looking rather austere. Networks once threw lavish parties to herald their new lineups. This year CBS is opting for a pedestrian press event on May 14 at New York's Carnegie Hall. In some cases, the paring down of pomp will mean that advertisers have less to see of upcoming shows than in years past.
CBS chief Les Moonves told investors during a conference call April 29 that for the upfronts, "many of our shows were filmed as presentations rather than full pilots, representing significant savings, while still providing the creative content on the screen to make an informed decision regarding the best new series."
